3202's driver seems to be constantly looking at his watch, see the earlier shots. It looks like our group are taking their seats upstairs for the retunr to Bromley. It had been a good night out, hic!!
Inevitably, as RTs were replaced they found use as non-passenger duties. This began in 1969 and RTs remained in training and staff bus use up until their demise in 1979. RT 1102 (NF) is caught resting in Sevenoaks bus station. This bus never ran in passenger service with London Country, only as a training vehicle. Thursday 27th May 1976. 3C-10.

Constant fighting with the covenant has made them the best of the best at what they do, and they select members from the other Recon Teams. Before you can deploy with Onyx, you must first pass selection, then attend a 6 month training period. This training has been called more brutal than ODST training with an 85% washout rate

Although routes 105 and 140 survived in this area until the Spring and Summer of 1978, the North West was very quickly stripped of RTs, many of whose routes became omo. RT 2673 (S) from Shepherds Bush garage on route 105 is seen in Greenford Road, Greenford on Friday 11th February 1977. Shepherds Bush lost its RTs on Friday 29th April 1978, although a lone RT ran on a journey on route 88 the following day at the request of enthusiasts. 3L-10.
