Daisy Mae does this every time we start setting up for dinner.

She stays like this till we are done and the table is cleared.

My morning routine seldom varies. I get up, put on a pot of coffee, feed the cats while it is making, and then retrieve my morning paper. Then I sit with a cup of coffee and the paper for perhaps half an hour, while I slowly wake up. I prefer not to talk to anyone for that first half hour.

Six days a week, I read the newspaper from front to back, looking at every page except those in the sports and advertising sections. On Sundays, though, I deviate and begin with the comics. Then I read the magazine sections and then randomly browse the rest of the paper. After my first cup of coffee, I usually eat something and then head for the shower. Inside the shower, a transformation takes place; I truly wake up and leave the room filled with energy and ready for the day. .

There is no routine without this routine: my morning coffee.

Norio's routine now consists of waiting in my room until I sit down at which point he jumps on my lap to be pet until he's satisfied. He then repeats several times a day.

Convincing a group of women who are in exercise gear to allow you to pull out a camera was an exercise in itself.

-eh ...ehh guys ...!

No matter what anyone says, but routine is the foundation on which life is built.

Everything is made up of little things...

⠀

We participate in the process of creating our lives, we make decisions every day that affect our future, and this is a huge power.

⠀

It depends on us how we react to simple daily tasks – as a boring pastime or still as an important part.

⠀

Let's find meaning together, for example, in cooking đŸ‘©đŸł food, let's look at it from a different angle.

⠀

So, cooking is not only a way to get enough, but it's also taking care of yourself, your family, maybe for someone it's a hobby, an opportunity to create and immerse yourself in a kind

of meditation...

We can always make sense of routine actions and our attitude to them determines our path ♄

⠀

What do you think?

So ready to get back into a routine again !

From time to time, it's good to just let go and do something out of your comfort zone, shake off the routine of daily life and just enjoy the moment :)

Wowza... today was spent trying to recover from working 3 night shifts in a row. I got a total of 14 hours of sleep in the past 72. Now I'm hoping to sleep tonight like a normal person.

This is simply an iPhone shot (using the Shake it app).

Photography thoughts for the day?

I like shots that give a glimpse of a routine moment... if they have a good "feel" to them. Meaning? When I look at this shot it gives me memories of the sounds and smells of a rainy winter day. In order to get this kind of shot I have to be willing to get the camera out and take shots that would seemingly be boring... and a lot of the time they are. But every now and then, one of them really captures what I'm after.

Day 2: The daily journeyman

Exercise is part of my morning routine. Each morning my feet hit the floor round 5am; I'm dressed and snatching up my camera bag as I walk out the door. Now I am ready for anything!

Unlike these two. or should I say three, in my image, I'm not as fit as I once was; maybe lucky to tackle about 3 or 4 kilometers in any direction a whim will take me. There is always some thing that catches my eye, to pull me up for a camera moment and then I am on my way again. I don't take much, just a photo and I don't leave anything, well maybe a footprint or two.

Week #40 (w/b 12 April) Steps and Stairs - At home, in the office, in our towns and cities steps and stairs are to be found. Those DIY enthusiasts will have their paint splattered steps sitting waiting their next project. This week we are going up and down - not literally - looking for our subjects and of course any part of stairs such as balustrades and bannisters can make interesting photographs!
