There was a good sunset one day so I decided to take some pictures from my rooftop. Let me know what you think!

In Moscow, as you are all aware, there is a lot of snow :) It has to be cleaned from time to time in order to protect the roof from unnecessary strain.

This is a photo I took in Heidelberg, Germany. I edited it in photoshop to make it look like a tilt shift photo. I find the effect incredible.

Assortment of interesting office rooftops in Central London including the gerkin, shot across the Thames from the South side.
Looks like a fun place to throw a bouncy ball...
I arrived at my guest house in Varanasi at 5:30am, I instinctively climbed the 7 sets of stairs to the rooftop (which happened to be the highest in the vicinity) to see the sunrise over the famous Ganges River. As the sun was rising I looked over the right hand side of the balcony and my jaw dropped with disbelief. Below were families - mothers, fathers, children, brothers, sister and dogs all sleeping on the top of their houses. It was mid summer in Varanasi and sleeping sans AC was difficult.
Not exactly the safest rooftop I've ever walked around on. Budapest district XIII, about 6 floors up.
Alessandra and I spent part of the afternoon arranging the rooftop for my little birthday soiree. We strung some solar powered LEDs which I hoped the guests might get to see before they headed home for the evening. It was a bit of a craps shoot though since we're still so close to the summer solstice and the sunset doesn't happen until quite late.
