Most of Japan's old department stores had/have a playground on the rooftop, but to find one on the roof of Haneda Airport was unexpected!

Had another lovely day with my husband after he got The Call to say his school was closed again. We had more snow fun and then went to soft play with some of Finlay's little friends. It was great - Jonny went in with Finlay whilst I drank tea and chatted with my friends. Marvellous.
I then managed to persuade J that I should probably go and look round the shops by myself, giving him some time to do his work/play the piano/whatever he does when he's alone whilst Finn napped. So, I had a lovely time wandering around town by myself. This is the view of Worcester from the top of House of Fraser. All the rooftops just look so gorgeous in the snow I thought.
Spotted as we flew past on the big wheel at Albanifest—“considered to be Europe's largest annual city festival”.
I bet this would be an awesome rooftop to chill and relax on during the summer.
Perhaps submitting it to the guess where vancouver group is a little tough, so I'll give a hint. It's in Gastown.
sunset from a rooftop in a small village 17 kms east of Meknes (Morocco) where I spent three days attending a wedding
Lazy Sunday morning bedroom camera obscura fun. Our bedroom velux-type window creates a very nice pinhole when you close the built-in little curtain roller and keep the window just 1cm from being shut. A camera on a long shutter speed sees even more color and detail than the human eye, so I was surprised by the effect.
DIY: every house has a natural camera obscura somewhere. Just check your darkest rooms and try to create a hole. A dark hallway with doors to bright rooms is perfect. The keyhole acts as pinhole. Good luck :-)

Captured this sunset from the roof of my house. My mom called and said it looks like a good possiblity for good picture. I go outside and see the pink sky but I didn't have a great view and with no time to drive anywhere, I ran to the garage and grabbed my ladder. Great access to the beautiful sunset; I was all over the roof getting different compositions!
