My raking leaves caused Kelso to get crazy, climb a tree and navigate an inch thick branch 20 feet off the ground until he stepped off onto the roof. Without his weight on it, the branch raised back to 3 feet above the roof stranding him. After 45 minutes and a failed "branch bridge" he was reluctantly pulled off the roof from a ladder.

Gene's has just opened a rooftop deck atop their Lincoln Square location. The hours are a bit weird, and it's cash only (ATM handily placed), but it's hard to imagine a better place to get beer and sausage with friends!

4th of July celebration in Akron, OH. We were on a downtown rooftop - awesome view.
No camera with me, so I snapped some shots with my 2.0 megapixel IPhone camera.
Our rooftop is currently having its railings replaced, so I had to sneak up last night to catch this dreamy panoramic sunset.
I used my 105mm telephoto lens and shot a total of 42 overlapping images to make up this panorama photograph. Consequently, you can zoom in quite close and gain the benefit of this ultra sharp prime lens.
I was surprised how well Hugin compensated for my otherwise abysmal capture. Even using my dedicated Induro PHQ3 panoramic tripod head, I still couldn't get the camera level throughout its pan. My images were all tipped so far to the right, I was sure that the stitching would leave gaping holes in my result. Fortunately, I provided enough overlap that Hugin could pull it off.
42 exposures, 48077 x 5459 = 262 megapixels, 1.33 GB LZW compressed TIFF, 210 degrees x 32 degrees FOV. Nikon D600 and Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR lens, each image exposed for between 1/5 second and 1 second at f/6.3, ISO 250. Panorama merged in Hugin using the Mercator projection, blemish removal in Photoshop CS6, final exposure adjustments in Lightroom 5.
