More Viewer 2 fun. Been a while since I've toyed with software geared toward screen/web rendering. Things look sharper until you print. :s

this dear soul is the proud owner of the sweetest rooftop real estate i have ever seen!

while on my city's "worldwide photowalk" i was invited to visit this man's kingdom in the sky! perched on top of a framing store he has craftily built several buildings including a kitchen, a lounge, a chicken coop for his hens and rooster (he retrieves eight eggs a day) and a pigeon coop! with pride he showed the well he built and has plans to use it as a laundry facility. he is ecologically savvy and collects rainwater for his garden (also growing on his roof) and made a gift to us of onions! the term "old world charm" i am sure originated right here!

he has an amazing view of the city street and river! i could have spent the day here with my camera...

This reminds me of one of the scene from Jason Statham's movies. :) I used my nifty fifty for this shot.

Anyways, for anything you do in life, you need to sell yourself. It does not matter how great your product or service is.

Selling Yourself

The 10 Traits of the Master Marketers. By Grover Sanschagrin

1) They realize, and accept, that marketing is a lot of work - but necessary.

2) They are persistent and consistent.

3) They know what works, and what doesn't.

4) They know their audience because they ARE their audience.

5) They find a niche, then define it.

6) They have character and manage to be entertaining or "interesting."

7) They motivate people to spread their messages, using many different channels.

8) They promote others (people, brands, services) in addition to themselves or their own products.

9) They share their knowledge and educate others.

10) They try to never let the world see them "marketing."

Find out at the end of the article who are the Master Marketers!

We barely see the fireworks from Brooklyn now that they're over the Hudson.

This is the second image taken in Florence. It shows a cut out segment of a rooftop garden. Part of the reason I chose this photo to edit was because of its vibrant colours. The colours show the vibrancy of Florence as a city and depict its nature while still being distorted.

"Rooftops - The latest hangout for all you city slickers! Whatever your mood there's a downtown roof for you. Clubbing, chilling, socializing... Or lets just skip the pleasantries altogether and get down dirty and rough.

The view of Lincoln Cathedral from the castle walls.

From Wiki:

Lincoln Cathedral (in full The Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln, or sometimes St. Mary's Cathedral) is a historic cathedral located in Lincoln in England and seat of the Bishop of Lincoln in the Church of England. Building commenced in 1088 and continued in several phases throughout the medieval period. It was reputedly the tallest building in the world for 249 years (1300–1549). The central spire collapsed in 1549 and was not rebuilt. It is highly regarded by architectural scholars; the eminent Victorian writer John Ruskin declared: "I have always held... that the cathedral of Lincoln is out and out the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles and roughly speaking worth any two other cathedrals we have."
