This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2023 Round 4, with the topic "Garten / Garden". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which I used exactly).
I struggled a little with the topic and just went with the first and rather classic idea, enjoying a romantic stroll through the rose garden. More or less coincidentally the build actually features the same character as my entry to last year's round 4, albeit in a more relaxing setting.
My entry for round 5 of the RogueOlympics. The category was “Chains”. Had a bit of a challenge coming up with ideas for this round, but in the end I decided to use some chains I got off the PaB wall as a tree.

For the second round of this year’s RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks it was time to go on an 'adventure'. I felt like going with the obvious and having an intrepid explorer discover the long-lost Temples of Lo'Ki, hidden within the jungles, far away from any society.
The RogueOlympics require you to stick to 101 elements or less so this little scene was built with a total of 98 bricks. It’s always great fun to work around those restrictions as it’s so different from most other contests, so of course I had to join.
Feel free to join this ongoing contest yourself! You can join each week for a different theme that needs to be built with 101 elements or less!
My build for week 1 of RogueOlympics. The 101 part limit is a very unique challenge, especially with round 1 being open for any theme. I ended up doing another rover, after toying with the large quarter circle elements in teal.
Here's my 3rd contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics.
The renovations at the LEGO store didn't go as planned.
Those Yellow truck tiles came in handy here. Made with exactly 101 parts. The prompt was "Backwards".

The Occamy is found in the Far East and India. A plumed, two-legged winged creature with a serpentine body, the Occamy may reach a length of fifteen feet. The Occamy is aggressive to all who approach it, particularly in defence of its eggs, whose shells are made of the purest, softest silver."

Built for the RogueOlympics Round 5. Finally this year I have built something that also stands :D
My 7th submission for the Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme was "Temperature" and I used 89/101 pieces. For once, not right up against the limit!

Taking a break and hitting up MechaMonday - and contest at same time!
RogueBricks has a 101 element challenge going on – and over the next 8 weeks there'll be a different theme each week.
It's called RogueOlympics !
Feel free to join if you feel like needing something to do in these times!
Made with 101 pieces!
For the seventh round of the RogueOlympics the theme was "Reaction" and I felt inspired to recreate some of the memories from my school time.
These life-size objects use once again only 101 pieces in total.
Also an entry for April Tools.
A little sewing machine I built for the current round of the RogueOlympics with the topic mechanics.
Here's a short video where you can see the machine in action.

Rogue Olympics round 6 and the theme is Wild. So I've made one of the wildest and most dangerous animals in the world, if not the whole universe.
It comes even with a stand :D
The whole thing is 30 parts.
This is for Rogue Olympics Round 1. In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. I've used exactly 57 pieces.
It's an open theme, so I chose to do a Star Wars one. Some of you know how much I like the Razor Crest and I love to build new versions of it. So here's another one :)
My last Entry for the RogueOlympics Round 8. This weeks theme "Upside down" inspired me to build this scene from "Spider Man - a new universe"
The Brick Monument is my entry for the 8th and last round of RogueOlympics 2023. This round is themed "icons". The brick itself is built quite complicated because I tried to meet the original proportions of a LEGO brick as good as possible.
My 8th and final entry for the RogueOlympics.. It’s been a very fun competition to participate in, and the last category “Upside Down” once again encouraged some very creative entries.
There were several things that I was having trouble choosing between, including the classic flip car toy concept. Then I came across this artwork, and that made up my mind. It’s a very different look to the usual monster truck type style for reversible car toys and I had a lot of fun with the sleek sci-fi racer aesthetic. My goal was to make each side very distinct, and I think it worked out, though it certainly took plenty of trial and error! And I ended up needing all 101 parts again for this entry.

This week the RogueOlympics category was “Monochrome”.
I’ve used tan very little since moving, perhaps due to considering it “John’s Color” for so long, and I used this prompt as an excuse to change that.
It was partially inspired by Eli’s excellent micro work. The build is super simple so I was mostly playing with the composition and photography. Once again it is made of exactly 101 parts.
Thanks to John and Markus for their input.
My entry for the RogueOlympics 2023 round 2 themed "internet". The Mojito is based on a song by the german punkband Dritte Wahl in which they state that the beach and alcoholic drinks only work in the real world, not in the cloud.
The sixth round of this year’s RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks asked for 'Nature'.
For some reason I found myself drawn to building a protector of the woods that carries the heart of the forest within her. A lovely excuse to build another character, and go wild with various shades of green! Finally found a use for an Elves dragon head, and the Clikits elements fit perfectly, too :)
The RogueOlympics require you to stick to 101 elements or less so this little scene was built with a total of 96 bricks. It’s always great fun to work around those restrictions as it’s so different from most other contests, so of course I had to join.
Feel free to join this ongoing contest yourself! You can join each week for a different theme that needs to be built with 101 elements or less!
Many thanks to Isaac for his help with the title!
For the eight and final round of the RogueOlympics the theme was "Upside Down" and the first thing that came to my mind was the Western Air Temple from Avatar the last Airbender.
With this micro scale build the 101 pieces challenge ends. It was challenging to come up with new ideas each round. Even though I learned a lot about using pieces efficiently, I'm looking forward to not care about part counts in my next builds!
This week’s RogueOlympics prompt was “Danger”; leading me to create this Mad Max inspired hot rod.
The build process felt very appropriate for this subject matter as I started by cobbling together large elements into the general shape then adding a few smaller details to fill things out. It uses 100 elements including the minifigures and is complete on all sides.

My 8th and final RogueOlympics entry. The last build prompt was “Time” and after seeing some cool artwork of hourglasses housing scenes of sand I decided to try my hand at something like that. The result was this model showing cities of sand from two different eras – the past flowing into the present and even creating the future. Ornament baubles made making the ‘glass’ easy and the whole build uses 97 elements.

Make him stay, Murph! Don't let me leave, Murph!
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2022 Round 8, with the topic "Zeit / Time". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which I'm using exactly, including the erased stand for Cooper).
I built the finale of Interstellar, where Cooper's love for his daughter transcends space and time with the help of gravity. From within the tesseract he communicates with his daughter through the bookshelf in her room and lays the Morse code for "STAY", in order to stop his past self from leaving her.
Living in a teapot and drinking a cup of tea.
For the fifth round of the RogueOlympics the theme was "Big & Small" and I came up with this idea. Also the challenge was to use only 101 pieces.
Here is my build for week two of the RogueOlympics where the prompt was “Internet”. It took a lot more thought this time to settle on a concept I liked.
In the end, I went with this imaginative cyber scenario of a firewall under attack by vicious viruses. The scene uses 100 elements.
There are a few more images including the parts spread on Brickbuilt.
Built for round 3 of the RogueOlympics. The category was “Risk”.

This week's theme for the RogueOlympics was "emotions".
To offer some contrast, I chose a sad scene from Pixar's Up, which touched me very much.
After all, our lives are not only made of happiness and lightness. We are also currently experiencing difficult times, in which some people are worried about their loved ones.
I wish you all, as well as your families and friends, that you can get through this time well and confidently.
Bon Apetit was the RogueOlympics prompt this week. I decided to try for a fresh produce sort of build rather than a processed food. This cherry cluster was the result and some lovely weather in Billund provided me with the sky background. I used 91 parts this time including those in the stand.
More on Brickbuilt.
Rogue Olympics round three and the theme is Risk. I wanted to do something risky and dangerous, and this is how my Jaws poster was born :D
The build uses a total of 53 parts.
For round 4 of the RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks the topic was "Hidden!". And, of course, one could only use 101 bricks. Here's my entry:
Giant octopuses are pretty intelligent. They can also be pretty lazy. And then there's Octavio, who stayed on top of this underwater mountain for so long that an island developed on top of him.
Good for him, as fresh food stops by almost daily trying to grab hold of the shiny treasure this island seems to contain. Today's lunch came with a red napkin, pirates are a funny bunch.
Thanks to Chris who lent me those Aquazone doors a while ago for a different project. They make for good water! :)
Last round of RogueOlympics 2022 the topic is "Time", the limit is 101 bricks.
I can spend a lot of time here
Build number four for the RogueOlympics, with our prompt this week being “Garden”.
I went with a sci-fi setting yet again, and loved getting to use the decorated Alpha Team canopies and a few constraction elements which I’ve had for quite some time now. The scene uses 101 parts.

RogueOlympics continues and for this week the category was Wildlife.
My “murtle” is a combination of a mushroom and a turtle situated in its natural environment.
It was a silly and fun little build using 100 elements.
Check out additional images on Brickbuilt.
This is my entry for the third round of RogueOlympics 2023. It was themed "risk". Since there are only 101 pieces allowed, I had to simplify some parts of the figure. The main victim of the simplification were the legs and shoes. My original legs had a lot more shape ;)
Wildlife.... boah so many possibilities... long time I couldn't decide but then I got back to an idea I also used for the 9 kingdom’s contest 3 years ago. -have a look-
My entry to the 3rd round of this years Rogue Olympics, theme: "Risk".
I used exactly 101 parts for this build.
RogueOlympics round 3, this time themed „Bon apetit“. It was quite a challenge to build the Pizza Taxi Rod with only 101 pieces (rule of RogueOlympics). To achieve this goal, I had to minimize details on the opposite side of the car. But I payed attention on building everything in a way that it could also be built as a symetric car (excluded the trunk door, which is opened in only one direction).
Here's my 8th and last contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics.
Made with exactly 100 parts. The prompt was "Class".
Here's the video: youtu.be/mrIMDtv4dcY
Imagine yourself a man standing on top of a mountain, with the clouds swirling around him, creating a feeling of Being on Top of the World.
Made for the 1st week of Rogue Olympics, with the theme 'Above the Clouds'. The point of the contest is to build something within the theme with a maximum part count of 101 pieces. The part count in this case is 97 pieces, so a close call;) It took half an hour to build an hour to edit xD
I hope you like it!
Rogue Olympics 2021 Round 6 is here and the theme is "Nature".
In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. This one is 82.
Pling, an email. Pling, a text. Pling, a discord notification. Sometimes it's a bit much, isn't it?
The second round of this year’s RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks was about exploring the 'Internet'.
I had barely any time last week for the ROs - some three hours on a Sunday night was all that I could manage. So here's a simple little tale about ignoring the internet, I guess.
Can you recognise all the services that the minifigure is walking away from?
The RogueOlympics require you to stick to 101 elements or less so this little scene was built with a total of 98 bricks. It’s always great fun to work around those restrictions as it’s so different from most other contests, so of course I had to join.
Six more rounds to go, we barely started! Feel free to join in on the fun!
