Promised more from Bempton and here they are, puffins! The most and closest I've seen them at Bempton. Cute little guys :)
Many thanks to all who comment, fave or just enjoy looking, it really is very much appreciated!
Thanks for all the support from you guys. One thing is for sure, we are all in this together and can really help each out when we combine our knowledge to combat internet photo thieves!
One interesting suggestion I received yesterday was from Susan. She referred me to a site TinEye Reverse Image Search. All you have to do is put in the url address of any image you are concerned about, and it will reverse look up all the sites where your image has appeared on the web. I tried it with a couple of mine and came up with hits on some and misses on others that I knew had been posted out on the web (without my permission). So, I guess this is a "hit or miss" tool - but certainly another weapon in the arsenal of tricks to try and catch the thieves!
This is another shot from my Walk in the Woods. Over the next few days, I am going to post a variety of the shots I took on Saturday when I spent several hours enjoying the spring weather in Turner's Creek Park.
Have a great week!
Texture found here - thanks Terry!

It often happens that as soon as we do a choice we immediatly would like to go back and change that decision...

This tiny mosquito which is around 2-3mm long is more challenging to shoot than the jumping spiders because it keeps on flying from one leaf to another. Here I shot him under a leaf where he thought to be a safe place to hide.
This was taken with the 18-55mm reversed lens and a new DYI diffuser. Sometimes it is not practical to use the DYI diffuser that I made last time coz it´s too big and scares the insects. About the lenses, I still prefer to use the 18-55mm than the 28mm or 50mm prime lens because it´s easier to focus and adjust to get the necessary magnification.

Shot using Trioplan Meyer-Optik Gorlitz antique lens.
This was taken probably 10-15 minutes after the sun set below the horizon.
For this shot, I used a 2 stop soft GND Lee filter & I used a Singh-Ray Daryl Benson Reverse GND filter.

another Winter seascape from the West Coast.... this time i ventured out to Mettams Pool in Perth only to find the conditions a little bit too rough so instead i went a little further up the coast and found this little spot...
i have been shooting a few long exposures in recent times... i found that when there is not much else going on, they push the boundaries of imagination just that little bit further...

I keep on pining for the past,
trying to relish good memories,
when I should be living in the present,
and making the best out of today's situation.
In order to do that, I have to remind myself
of the past, looking at old pictures.
