December 2018. The Oregon Department of Agriculture led a team of 22 Oregon volunteers to Butte County, California to take over the operations of the Small Animal Full Care Shelter. ODA organized 5 veterinarians, 6 veterinary technicians and 11 shelter management experts from all over the state to serve in a clinical and management role caring for more than 500 animals.

Photos from the Jan 2016 inter-agency search and rescue response following the loss of two CH-53 helicopters from Marine Corp Squadron HMH-463 in Hawaii. Most photos were taken at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park on Oahu's north shore where the Coast Guard, Marines, Honolulu Police, Honolulu Fire, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, Honolulu Ocean Safety and the Army's 93rd Civil Support Team set us a forward command post.
In response to Pablo Lobato I created these statue design to use them in my magazine as a short funny story or as funny illustrations with humorous type added later such as ‘what statues are really thinking’. Lobato is an illustrator who creates sharp bold figures of famous people who have been manipulates to include exaggerated features but are still recognisable. His style of illustration is very unique to him, using sharp shapes, straight lines, and the occasional swooping curve to produce his work. I chose to respond to him as his work is very unique and eye catching and I thought it would look and excellent illustration in my magazine. I created my pieces by generating simple shapes over an image of the individual statue and then added colour and by manipulating the hue of each shape. I then would enlarge and shrink some of these shapes to create the exaggerated features that are so prominent in his work. As a result I think my work looks similar to his and will be an excellent part of my magazine.

Initially the theme of the programmes was described by Mr. Sudhen Sumesh Kumar Associate Professor and Organizing Secretary of the CNE. The delegates and participants of the programme were welcomed by Prof. Tamilselvi Principal and the Organizing Chairperson of the CNE followed by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. The CNE was officially inaugurated by the Chairman and Managing Trustee Adv. Dr. P Krishnadas with an inaugural address. The CNE was honored with the presence of Mrs. Sumitha Krishnadas, Management Representative, and Dr. Alawi. Professor General Medicine PKDIMS.
The first Session on Bites was taken by Dr. Alawi. Professor General Medicine PKDIMS. And the Nursing management of bites by Mrs., Delna P Davis, Assistant Professor, NCN with a role-play of bites by fourth year nursing students NCN.
The second session on Burns was handled by Dr. Mohammed Sajid, Deputy Medical Superintendent PKDIMS with an scenario presentation by Fourth year nursing students on do And don’ts of burns patients. The management of patient with burns is dealt by Mr. Shahul Hammed, Asst Professor, NCN.
The Third session was handled by Dr. Karthik. Chief of Emergency medicine and Mrs. Salikutty Deputy Nursing Superintendent on the Nursing management of patients with OP Poisoning
The Speakers were acknowledged with Mementos and certificates and the participants were provided with Conference Kit, Refreshments, Lunch and Certificates. The event concluded at 4.30 PM with Vote of Thanks by Prof Lavanya. Organizing Secretary and Vice Principal NCN Followed By National Anthem.

The Vicenza Military Community conducted its full-scale exercise Lion Response 2016 on Caserma Ederle May 10.
The annual exercise was a tool to verify the cooperation of Italian and American security forces in response to an emergency situation.
This year’s scenario included two simultaneous simulated terrorist attacks near controlled access areas on Caserma Ederle.

AHF partnered with Pastor Kelvin Sauls and the Holman United Methodist Church in Los Angeles to host a panel discussion and community town hall on Ebola, the deadly virus that has killed nearly 5,000 people in West Africa since March and, with its more recent arrival in the U.S., exposed significant shortcomings in the government and private hospitals’ public health response.
AHF, which cares for over 350,000 HIV/AIDS patients in 36 countries, has lost two physicians to Ebola; Dr. Sheik Humarr Khan, the physician who had been leading Sierra Leone’s response to Ebola and who also served as Medical Officer for AHF’s Country Program there, who died July 29th; and Dr. John Taban Dada, a Ugandan national living and working in Monrovia, Liberia, who died from Ebola on October 9th.
The United States Army Garrison Italy conducted a routine annual full-scale exercise Lion Response 2017 on Caserma Ederle May 10.
This year’s exercise tested the cooperation of Italian and American security forces and emergency Italian and U.S. personnel to react to an emergency situation, which included a terrorist attack and a mass casualty situation on Caserma Ederle and a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device at Camp Darby in Livorno.
