Una delegación de la República de Corea, integrada por representantes de la Asamblea Nacional de Corea, Ministerio de Ciencias, Fundación Nacional de Investigación, Agencia de Promoción de la Industria de IT, Agencia de Seguridad e Internet; así como la Agencia Nacional de Sociedad de la Información, visitó hoy lunes, al Presidente Regional Edwin Licona Licona, con la finalidad de entregar una donación de cien computadoras en el marco del proyecto PC Verde del Amor del gobierno coreano que tiene como finalidad reducir la brecha digital entre los países.
En la actualidad la República de Corea, se halla en la cima del ranking mundial de gobiernos electrónicos que consiste en el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación TIC, que tiene la finalidad de brindar servicios de información a los ciudadanos, aumentar la eficacia y eficiencia de la gestión pública e incrementar sustantivamente la transparencia del sector público y la participación ciudadana. La República de Corea, muestra su interés en brindar cooperación técnica al Gobierno Regional del Cusco, en la implementación de proyectos señalados en la Agenda Digital Cusco, habiéndose desarrollado reuniones anteriores con especialistas y determinado la priorización de cuatro proyectos para la Región Cusco.
Entre los proyectos priorizados están la implementación de un Tablero de Control que permita proporcionar a los ciudadanos y a las autoridades responsables de la toma de decisiones, información estadística actualizada y transparente en población, salud, educación, desarrollo regional, infraestructura, medio ambiente, entre otros. Establecer un nuevo proceso de Gestión Administrativa ligada al Proceso de Simplificación Administrativa y la Modernización del Estado Peruano. Fortalecimiento de Capacidades considerando Asistencia Técnica, Pasantías y Voluntariado.
Otro de los proyectos es que el Gobierno Regional Cusco, impulse la implementación de telecentros en coordinación con gobiernos locales, instituciones educativas, académicas, ONGs y sociedad Civil en por lo menos el 70% de los distritos de la Región. El telecentro es un lugar público donde la gente puede usar computadoras con acceso a internet y otras tecnologías que ayudan a recopilar información y a comunicarse con otras personas.
La ceremonia se realizó hoy lunes a las 09:00 de la mañana en las instalaciones del Gobierno Regional (Auditorio) y contó con la asistencia de los gerentes, así como directores sectoriales del Gobierno Regional.

This represents my latest thinking on where I am going to take this window. It looks REALLY rough right now, just a bunch of cardboard and wire. Still warting through a lot of the "how" questions....so this is concept only.
I know there will be many of these times where something does not come easily, but wow, if this comes out in the wash, it will have been a very difficult 'birth'!
The first presentation represented a Marine from the American Revolution. Most of the statements were very assertive and aggressive, making statements about the role of the Marines in the particular war, and how the Marines never quit. A few instances (later pictures) were less aggressive and in line with the problems surrounding those wars.
Because of the distance and consequent problems with quality of the pictures, I have only used some of the presentations that were given.

Mandala, the magic circle, represents the universal cycle of creation, degeneration and regeneration. Its the cycle of day and night, life journeys. A Mandala is self-contained and deeply interconnected with other cycles. It is imbued with creative life force which it generates, receives and radiates. .
Its a creative collective group of artists and friends and development professionals, with a deep commitment to social issues and artistic endeavors of relevance. .
Mandala is continuously working with youth, professionals and children for last five years. About the Play .
Dawat-e-Khichdi, a montage, elaborates the antecedents, process and consequences of modern city life. Strangely, a city is both, a home as well as an alien and an alienating environment, enveloping us all. The play depicts the dilemmas and conflicts of urban living, highlighting the debilitating compromises one has to make in order to survive. It puts the spotlight on the plight of migrating laborers, who are the makers of the modern city, yet remain invisible. .

Lokesh Jain has lived and breathed theatre for the last two decades, exploring the diverse forms of .
theatre : solo performance, theatre of and for the oppressed, street theatre, proscenium theatre, non-verbal theatre and childrens theatre. He started his career with some of the groups in Delhi but ACT-ONE has played a major role in his life. He has undergone intensive training under Shri Ebrahim Alkazi and worked on script writing, designing as well as direction. Some of his prominent works are Akkarmashi, Triology (Fragrance, Blood on the Rocks, Mirror), Kichdi Kitsch, Humey Naaz Hai, Chal Door Mere Mun, Khushdam Khushdam Khushiyan Lo, and Gul Gulee Circus, soi subah ki khoi dastan, khawabow ke bul buley & others. His solo pieces have been staged in NSDs theatre festival, Indo-Pak Wagha Border and various other art galleries. He is a visiting faculty at Mata Sundari College where he teaches Theatre in Education to B.EL.ED students. He is the founder of Jamghat group that works with street children. He is also the creative director of Mandala (The Magic Circle) .

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary represents an enclave of relative wilderness amidst swirling traffic and sprawling urban infrastructure. Located just as the name in Arabic suggests - at the Cape of the Creek, it is among the few urban protected areas of the world. Ras Al Khor is also home to about 500 greater flamingoes (Phoenicopterus roseus), which has become something of a mascot for Dubai's Wild Life protection program. Ras Al Khor is home to more than 20,000 birds of 67 species, making it an ideal spot for eco-friendly tourists. Although not officially so, Ras Al Khor is also fondly called as the Dubai bird park. Renowned for its pink flamingos that steal the show in winter, you can also spot reef herons, great egrets, cormorants, black-winged stilts, grey herons, osprey, sandpipers and many such birds here.

There are two viewing spots : "The Flamingo Hide" and "The Mangrove Hide", it is open October to March 7:30 - 17:30 hr, April to September 06:00 - 18:00 hr, Fridays 14:00-17:30 hr. Mangrove Hide is also the feeding spot where around 09:30 food is given to the birds. There is no fees to visit the spots.
