Representantes da Prefeitura de Contagem se reuniram, nesta terça-feira (31/5), com moradores do Condomínio Nosso Rancho e da empresa G5 Agropecuária, responsável pelo empreendimento, para discutirem a regularização fundiária da área, que possui quase 3 milhões de metros quadrados. O encontro foi mais um passo nas tratativas entre a administração municipal e as demais partes para discutirem o assunto.
A prefeita Marília Campos esteve pela primeira vez no local e reafirmou o compromisso da Prefeitura em discutir com os moradores a construção de uma solução para o local, que é muito importante para o município e, principalmente, para a Bacia de Várzea das Flores. “Estando aqui pela primeira vez, dá para perceber o apego de vocês com essa área. Afirmo novamente que vocês podem contar com o apoio da Prefeitura para solucionarmos essa questão da regularização, e garantir meios legais para a preservação de toda a área como um patrimônio ambiental de nossa cidade”, informou.
As negociações para a regularização do local foram retomadas no fim do ano passado, com a participação dos representantes técnicos das secretarias de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Habitação e de Meio Ambiente, do condomínio e da empresa. Após meses de conversas, a Prefeitura apresentou para os responsáveis uma proposta de contrapartidas para a regularização do condomínio, que foi discutida entre os moradores e empresa, que encaminharam uma contraproposta para o município.
Segundo a secretária de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Habitação, Mônica Cadaval, a discussão sobre a regularização do condomínio só foi possível a partir de 2017 com a mudança da legislação federal que possibilitou a regularização fundiária de loteamentos iguais ao Condomínio Nosso Rancho. De acordo com a lei, para regularizar, os responsáveis devem realizar algumas contrapartidas que vão trazer benefícios para o município.
“Esse loteamento possui uma configuração diferenciada de um bairro urbano, e por se tratar de regularização fundiária de um bairro de padrão médio e alto, a lei federal estabelece que a comunidade tem que comparecer com contrapartidas que serão investidas na melhoria da cidade aqui na região, trazendo benefícios ambientais e sociais”, afirmou.
A moradora e sindica do condomínio, Lidiane Acácio Silva, explicou que os moradores querem que o local seja regularizado como condomínio fechado para garantir a preservação do local e, principalmente, do espelho d’água. “Nós queremos garantir a preservação. Se aqui fosse um bairro ou loteamento de acesso controlado, não conseguiríamos manter isso do jeito que está. Estamos entrando na Semana do Meio Ambiente e aqui tem tudo a ver com isso. Estamos contribuindo não apenas para Contagem, mas para a região metropolitana”, explicou.
O advogado do condomínio, Rodrigo Avelar Antunes, informou que as contrapartidas apresentadas serão internas e externas ao condomínio. Entre as que serão realizadas fora da área, foram propostas a construção de uma nova Unidade Básica de Saúde em Nova Contagem, revitalização de algumas praças da região e intervenções viárias em Nova Contagem para benefício da população.
Nas próximas semanas, um novo encontro será realizado entre os interessados e a Prefeitura, onde a Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Habitação irá apresentar a análise realizada referente as contrapartidas apresentadas pelo condomínio.
Para finalizar, a secretária de Meio Ambiente, Maria Thereza Camisão, enfatizou a importância de garantir a preservação do meio ambiente no condomínio. “A forma como os moradores encaram a proteção da área, da margem da lagoa, com as APPs todas protegidas, isso é um grande ganho para a qualidade e quantidade de água do reservatório da lagoa de Vargem das Flores”, finalizou.
O Condomínio Nosso Rancho é considerado uma Área de Preservação Permanente - APP, e possui, aproximadamente, 100 nascentes catalogadas pela Secretaria de Meio Ambiente que abastecem a segunda maior lagoa do município, a Lagoa Nossa Rancho. Ela compõe o sistema de abastecimento de água do complexo do Rio Paraopeba, além de possuir também uma imensa porção da fauna e flora. O local possui 467 lotes, com mais de 200 famílias residentes na área. De acordo com o regimento interno do condomínio, as chácaras não podem ter área inferior a 2.500 metros e todas devem manter 20% da área a título de reserva legal.
O administrador Regional Vargem das Flores, Wander Batista, também esteve presente. Ele foi o responsável por intermediar os encontros entre os interessados e a Prefeitura. Desde que el Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Salud declaró la Emergencia de Salud Pública de Interés Internacional, con el Secretario General de Naciones Unidas se estableció el equipo de gestión de crisis para reforzar los planes nacionales de respuesta al coronavirus en todos los países, como también está ocurriendo en Colombia.
Teniendo todo esto en cuenta, la OPS los invita a que sigan con atención las recomendaciones del Gobierno colombiano, que a continuación explicará la doctora Martha Ospina, Directora del Instituto Nacional de Salud.

A Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam) realizou na manhã desta sexta-feira (2), no Plenário Ruy Araújo, uma Sessão Especial em homenagem ao Dia mundial do Meio Ambiente, que é comemorado oficialmente no dia 5 de junho. O evento discutiu a importância das áreas verdes dentro dos espaços urbanos e foi uma iniciativa do deputado estadual Luiz Castro (REDE), que também é presidente da Comissão de Meio Ambiente da Casa.
O parlamentar destacou a interferência do meio ambiente na qualidade de vida das pessoas. “O ordenamento da expansão das cidades deve conter elementos socioambientais e planejamento de ações a longo prazo, assim como a cidade de Curitiba, que deveria ser um modelo para outras cidades por proporcionar qualidade de vida à população”, afirmou.
O Subsecretário Municipal de Gestão de Limpeza Pública de Manaus, Eisenhower Campos, falou da importância de interação entre os órgãos do poder público e a sociedade em prol dessas mudanças nas paisagens urbanas. “Precisamos dividir essa responsabilidade com a sociedade civil para que possamos humanizar o meio ambiente. Existe uma vacância muito grande entre a legislação e a realidade, precisamos humanizar as políticas públicas e apostar na educação ambiental para as crianças”, apontou.

This group portrait represents George Washington’s military, political, and family life. The president, in a Revolutionary War uniform, rests his hand on a plan for Washington, DC, the site for the new US capital. His wife, first lady Martha Washington, and her grandchildren join him at their Virginia plantation estate, Mount Vernon.
Research now suggests that the figure standing just outside the family group is Christopher Sheels, an enslaved attendant to the president. Unlike the four family members, Sheels is painted in shadow. Old damage to the paint makes it even harder to see his face clearly. Sheels’s presence signals that the president’s household depended on the labor of enslaved people, as did the economy of the young nation.

The light-skinned man sits on a red upholstered chair at the table to our left, and his body faces our right in profile. His legs are crossed, and he rests his right elbow, closer to us, on the back of the chair. He has a sloping, rounded nose, dark eyes, jowls along his jawline, and his closed mouth juts forward. His left arm rests on an open pamphlet on the table next to a sword with a delicate silver hilt. To our left, the young boy stands also looks to our right in profile, next to the older man's chair. The boy wears a dusky rose-pink suit with a white lacy collar. With his right hand, he pulls back a dark green cloth covering a globe on a wooden stand along the left edge of the canvas. The woman sits at the right side of the table, across from the man. She has dark eyes, full cheeks, a double chin, and her pale lips are closed. She wears a voluminous ivory satin gown and petticoat with a black lace shawl, and an ivory cap with a satin bow covers her gray hair. She points to a spot on a map on the table with a closed fan held in her right hand. The young girl, wearing a gauzy white dress with a pine-green sash at the waist, stands on the far side of the table near the woman, holding the curling edges of the map. Behind the women, the brown-skinned man wears a rust-orange and gray uniform, and stands with one hand tucked into his vest in the shadows at the edge of the composition. His features are indistinct but he faces our left in profile. The room has a gold-and-yellow checkerboard floor, and a red cloth drapes from columns frame the scene to each side. It is unclear whether a river view at the back of the room is seen through an open window or door, or if it is a large painting behind the people.
Edward Savage's The Washington Family quickly became a veritable icon of our early national pride. In the winter of 1789–1790, President Washington and his wife posed for Savage in New York City, then the nation's capital. Mrs. Washington's grandchildren, taken in by the Washingtons after their father's death, probably also sat for their oil portraits in New York. Savage began to incorporate the separate life studies of their faces into a group portrait engraved on a copper plate. After a stay in England, he resumed the family portrait in Philadelphia—this time, however, in large format as an oil on canvas. The Washington Family was exhibited in 1796.
Savage's catalogue states that Washington's uniform and the papers beneath his hand allude to his "Military Character" and "Presidentship" respectively. With a map before her, Martha Washington is "pointing with her fan to the grand avenue," now known as Pennsylvania Avenue. An enslaved man dressed in livery and a supposed vista down the Potomac complete the imaginary scene.
Savage's self–taught ability to distinguish between satins, gauzes, and laces is nothing short of astonishing. However, the anatomy alternates between wooden and rubbery, and the family strangely avoids eye contact. Despite Savage's lack of experience, his huge Washington Family remains one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken by a federal artist.
Edward Savage was a self-taught painter and engraver who became proprietor of a paintings gallery and natural history museum in Philadelphia, New York and Boston. Although his abilities improved, his talent never equaled his ambition. Born in 1761 in Princeton, Massachusetts, he painted commissioned copies of portraits by John Singleton Copley and a naively painted full-length portrait of Abraham Whipple (United States Naval Academy, Annapolis) in the mid-1780's before making portraits of George and Martha Washington in New York in 1789-1790. He went to London in 1791, where he published prints of his portraits of Henry Knox and Washington and had some contact with Benjamin West. He returned to Massachusetts in 1794, painted portraits, and married Sarah Seaver of Boston.
Savage went to Philadelphia in 1795, where from July he exhibited his panorama of London. The following February he opened the Columbian Gallery, "a large collection of ancient and modern Paintings and Prints." (Gazette of the United States, 20 February 1796). From then until 1801 he worked in Philadelphia as a painter, engraver, print publisher and gallery operator. Although his painting and engraving techniques had improved in England, he relied considerably on the assistance of his apprentice John Wesley Jarvis and English engraver David Edwin. Later they and others claimed that their talents added significantly to the quality of Savage's work in these years.
Savage exhibited his London panorama in New York in 1797 and moved there in 1801, where he reopened the Columbian Gallery. He is listed in New York city directories through 1810 as a "historical painter and museum proprietor". Gallery exhibits included his paintings of The Washington Family, Liberty, The Landing of Columbus ("from a picture in the collection of the Grand Duke of Tuscany") and his copy of West's Cupid Stung by a Bee. Engravings of "Liberty, Columbus, Etna, Vesuvius, a large whole length of Washington...and many other Prints published by E. Savage" were for sale. The museum offered natural history exhibits that were "arranged, agreeably to the ideas of Sir Hans Sloane, and with the addition of a number of paintings, and other interesting articles, will form a complete source of amusement for every class, particularly the amateurs of Arts and Sciences." (The Daily Advertiser 10 June 1802). Charles Bird King was a pupil in 1800-1805. In the winter of 1805-1806 he and Charles Willson Peale exchanged natural history specimens. The following summer he made a sketching trip to Niagara Falls.
Savage went briefly to Baltimore in 1810, where he advertised as a portrait painter in March (American, and Commercial Daily Advertiser, 19 March 1810). He moved that year to Boston, where he re-established the Columbian Museum on Tremont Street. He died seven years later, in 1817, on his farm in Princeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts. One of many talented artists of the Federal period, Savage is best remembered as one of the first proprietors of a museum and picture gallery. But his bequest numbered less than two hundred paintings and sculptures—not nearly enough to fill the gallery’s massive rooms. This, however, was a feature, not a failure of Mellon’s vision; he anticipated that the gallery eventually would be filled not only by his own collection, but also by additional donations from other private collectors. By design, then, it was both Andrew Mellon and those who followed his lead—among them, eight men and women known as the Founding Benefactors—to whom the gallery owes its premier reputation as a national art museum. At the gallery’s opening in 1941, President Roosevelt stated, “the dedication of this Gallery to a living past, and to a greater and more richly living future, is the measure of the earnestness of our intention that the freedom of the human spirit shall go on.”

The district Avilés represents includes Red Hook, Sunset Park and parts of Borough Park, Dyker Heights and Windsor Terrace. Avilés succeeds Democrat Carlos Menchaca, who held the seat for eight years, after she defeated Libertarian challenger Erik Frankel by a margin of 6,526 votes. The Sunset Park resident was joined by her husband Frankie, her daughters, and numerous NYC dignitaries who spoke on her behalf. These included Sen Chuck Schumer, US Representative Nydia Velasquez, and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams. A partir de segunda-feira (10), 15 escolas de Itajaí realizam as eleições para escolha de seus representantes no projeto Câmara Mirim. Ao todo, 4.374 estudantes de 6º ao 9º ano poderão votar nos 47 candidatos a vereador mirim. O projeto é promovido pela Câmara de Vereadores de Itajaí, por meio da Escola do Legislativo Maria Rosa Heleno Schulte.
Os alunos votarão somente nos candidatos de suas escolas. O estudante que receber o maior número de votos na unidade de ensino será automaticamente eleito vereador mirim titular. As duas vagas restantes para completar a legislatura e as vagas de suplentes serão determinadas posteriormente por meio de um sorteio realizado pela Câmara de Vereadores.
Os vereadores mirins eleitos participarão de atividades de formação sobre política e cidadania e de sessões ordinárias em que poderão discutir indicações e requerimentos, entre outras atividades.

Esta é a primeira edição do projeto Câmara Mirim em Itajaí. Após a adesão das escolas interessadas em participar do processo, foi aberta a inscrição de candidatura dos alunos do 8º ano. Participam da eleição 28 meninas e 19 meninos.
As escolas com o maior número de candidatos são o Colégio Salesiano, com sete, e as Escolas Básicas João Duarte e Marechal Olímpio Falconieri da Cunha, com cinco candidatos cada. Os maiores colégios eleitorais são o Salesiano, com 569 eleitores, a escola Marechal Olímpio Falconieri da Cunha, com 537, e Colégio de Aplicação Univali (CAU), com 507.

Localizado em frente à estação da Luz do metrô, na região central de São Paulo, o Parque da Luz foi originalmente criado como um horto botânico, aberto em 1825 ao público como Jardim Público da Luz. Este é o mais antigo e tradicional parque público da cidade.
O local possui área para apresentações, coreto, playground, espelhos d'água, uma gruta com cascata, aquário subterrâneo, equipamentos de ginástica, pista de cooper, paraciclos, áreas de estar, sanitários, mirante, ponto de bonde, lagos, chafariz, além de uma exposição permanente de esculturas, bosque da leitura e o museu Casa do Administrador.
No jardim do parque, é possível encontrar espécies de árvores como o alecrim-de-campinas, o andá-açu, o chichá, a corticeira, o jenipapo, a magnólia-branca, entre outras plantas.
O local também abriga 67 espécies de pássaros e animais como o cágado-pescoço-de-cobra, peixes como carpas, tilápias e acares que vivem no espelho d'água.
Destaca-se o lago em formato de cruz de malta, localizado no centro do parque, rodeado por esculturas que representam as quatro estações do ano.
Próximo ao portão principal, passa a ciclofaixa de lazer, que funciona aos domingos e feriados, das 7h às 16h.
Também é possível visita a Pinacoteca, museu que conta com dez salas que abrigam o acervo com cerca de cem mil obras, além de um espaço da reserva técnica no qual ficam peças em restauração. A área também oferece um delicioso café.

La directora general (e) de Prosperidad Social, Margarita Palomo, anunció en el marco de su visita a Amazonas que se amplió hasta septiembre la operación de la Estrategia Unidos en el departamento y se acompañarán 4.211 hogares durante 2018. La operación en el departamento representa una inversión de cerca de $1.000 millones de pesos que permitirán atender a hogares en condición de pobreza extrema a través de 23 cogestores sociales que realizan el acompañamiento.
Así mismo, durante el recorrido por Amazonas se realizaron visitas a hogares promovidos por la Estrategia Unidos del proyecto de vivienda gratuita Ñia Nee Mechi en Leticia para conocer el impacto de la Estrategia en el mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida de estas familias. Por su parte, en el Resguardo Indígena de Mocagua se adelantó una sesión del modelo étnico con comunidades Tikuna para hablar de medicina tradicional y de las características de una buena alimentación desde la cosmovisión de estos pueblos indígenas.
Es necesario precisar que para las comunidades étnicas la medicina tradicional y sus especialistas, hacen parte de los sistemas tradicionales de conocimiento y tienen como función la prevención de las enfermedades individuales y colectivas y su tratamiento cuando se presentan.
"El enfoque diferencial es fundamental para llegar de manera asertiva a las distintas poblaciones que existen en el país. Es muy importante destacar que con la actual operación estamos llegando a 2.943 hogares pertenecientes a comunidades étnicas de la región para que superen condiciones de pobreza y vulnerabilidad y lo estamos haciendo con 15 cogestores étnicos.", concluyó Margarita Palomo, directora general (e) de Prosperidad Social.

San Jerónimo socorrió a la fiera y le curó la pata por completo. El animal, agradecido, no quiso separarse jamás de su bienhechor. Cuando murió San Jerónimo, el león se acostó sobre su tumba y se dejó morir de hambre. Pero es una leyenda atribuida por error, en realidad le pertenece a San Gerásimo, eremita. El parecido en los nombres indujo al error.
