A previous owner replaced the original DiMarzio Evolution pickups with DiMarzio Tone Zone (DP155) pickups. Fortunately the original Evolutions are in the case so I will restore them to keep the guitar closer to stock

We’ve owned our Volvo XC70 for 8 years as of 1 April 2024. It’s getting on a bit as it is now 13 years old with 144k on the clock. It’s been remarkably reliable so far.
However the passenger’s door lock needs a new actuator motor. The door lock issue is a hangover from the era that Ford owned Volvo and Land Rover. Many models use the same assembly including the Freelander and the Mondeo. It’s a common fault. I have to disassemble most of the door to get the lock out. The motor is small and looks like it belongs in a Scalextric car.
Thank goodness someone has explained all this on a YouTube video. Its a complicated assembly that requires many tools, confidence and patience to work on. The new motors simply click into place including the electrical contacts.

Valo TV.1 in grey replace the white ones... the EB.1 liner really kills, i dunno how anyone can really break them in without them breaking you.... but i did skate them with the liner digging into my awesome shin bruise... the liner is really comfy, just the tongue is really too hard...
the original bajoran earring was eaten by the postal gremlins; which is just hideous and makes me feel horrible, But - and this is really weird because usually I come over all incompetent and strange and adhd when I have to do soemthing more than once - I'm really enjoying replacing it. even if it is taking longer than my head said it did last time.
Abby's favourite stuffy was more than a bit worn and needed some repairs. She was very happy to get him back.
