Got this back from the platers and installed today. Turned out quite nice. And yes, the frame does have a negative TT slant.
More elementary students are safer at school with the completion of the seismic replacement of Bayview Community Elementary.
The new, safer Bayview Community Elementary includes a neighbourhood learning centre that provides before-and-after-school care to families in the area. The school was built to the latest seismic standards and includes innovative, low-carbon mass timber as a main building material.

This vignette was created for the Eurobricks Christmas Raffle.
The requirement of the raffle was to build something Christmas themed.
It was also designed to fit in with the 2011 Limited Edition Christmas sets (3300020 and 3300002).
A resin replacement set of tires is available, but I will try to do it myself. I started gluing some 0.040" plastic sheet edged with 0.040" square rod. The blocks will be sanded down to match the edge of the strips and impart a proper curve to the tire tread face. The thing on the bottom of the photo is a template used to establish the center diagonal cut across the tread block. There are 30 blocks per wheel, so 114 more to go!

Construction work on the replacement Naver Bridge, crossing the River Naver near Bettyhill in Sutherland, in March 2025.
It's nice enough for $2000. A little more room inside, which is nice. And four doors, which is much more convenient.
Another block was purchased from Trust Salvage that came out of a 1965 Buick Electra. The block was bored .040 and the crank was polished.
PLA parts on the left have begun to crack. New ABS parts printed on my MakerBot on the right.
Luckily I live in THE FUTURE and have multiple printers so I'm able to print my own replacement parts.

The Rail replacement bus to Bangor awaits departure from Holyhead, to connect into 40006 on 1J16 0910 Holyhead – Manchester Victoria which was starting from Bangor that morning due to engineering work on the island. Some negotiation was required to travel on this as a Bristol VR had also been provided, and was adequate for the number of passenger at Holyhead.The Lodekka was going to follow it ‘ECS’so we where allowed scratch it in anyway.

SAN DIEGO (Dec. 29, 2020) Lt. Cmdr. Daniel Hammer, a maxillofacial surgical oncologist assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) (center), and Lt. Justin Odette, one of the oral and maxillofacial surgery chief residents assigned to NMCSD (right), inspect a patient’s prosthetic denture approximately six weeks after an immediate jaw replacement surgery Dec. 29. Hammer, Odette and their colleagues performed the Department of Defense’s and California’s first ever immediate jaw reconstruction surgery using 3D-printed teeth. A tumor-stricken lower jaw was removed from the patient and replaced with a section of the fibula. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
