I like 3D photorealistic renderings in 3D stereoscopic pictures!
This one is just a small test to check the stereo vision errors introduced by a global illumination algorithm. It statistically projects a large amount ( but not every possible) amount of rays of light in the room, yet the pseudo-random distribution of rays in the scene may change from rendering to rendering, so it could possibly introduce errors for us stereographers.
the result of this test is that the errors rate can be kept low, and the stereo pair looks fine!

The ball is simply a sphere, one of the primitive objects you can add to a scene with just one click. The first pin (which was then copied 9 times) was made from a cylinder and sculpted "freehand" until it looked like a bowling pin. Glass is one of the most fun things to render, but it also takes a lot of processing. This image probably took several hours to render.
