The yellow brickwork of Woking library has been rendered over now - we won't ever be seeing those bricks again!
Meanwhile, the front entrance is having a cafe built in it, with library users relegated to a new entrance being built down the side.
Not sure what the problem would have been of having the cafe but still being able to walk through the front, I thought they liked these open plan things these days...?
While the library is closed, Surrey County Council are using two small shop units in Wolsey Walk as a temporary measure, one for a limited selection of books (and a limited selection of bus timetable books too!!), the other with all the computers in for people to use.

Part of the bas-relief that decorates the Main Portal Door of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral.
This old church is about to be demolished and be replaced by the new Cathedral that is being constructed just across the street.

This one has a lot of processing. It is slightly less realistic as it goes from bottoms up.

This one is a product of an overtired mind, and a very bumpy brain.
Looking at it on the next day, I like how the splash reminds me of Japanese renditions of the surf's splash.
The new render engine in Blender, at the monent, has a limited number of lamp types which work and uses Object Based Lighting.
This is an attempt to produce a spotlight effect. All ilumination comes from the 'spotlight' mesh with no post production.
