Just out for a walk to clear my head, imagine how pleased i was to find this taking place at the bay.

This is not exactly the shot i was after, but i found it really tricky shooting into the sun, catch the planes in flight, keep some details in the sea/foreground and get a bit of gull action

I don't have a laser pointer, but I have this little pen light keychain. I've wanted to do this forever! It was fun. I'm not too bad at writing in midair, backward!

I have ones where I increased the aperture number and you couldn't see me or the trails where I covered the light with the tip of my finger, but I liked it better when you could see those "imperfections."

After a series of strange and unsuccessful vehicles, the designers at Llwyngwril Space Systems surface transport division finally knuckled down to creating a serious, successful vehicle.

The Leviathan was the twentieth in a series of mobile platforms commissioned by the Tarren Trade Authority and was painted in their trademark yellow and red colours.

The Leviathan 20's landing pad was big enough for quite large ships, such as the Tetrad fast messenger ship.

The cabin featured a control tower, systems control desk and two drivers' positions. The Leviathan was naturally right-hand drive, as all vehicles from all civilised systems were and still are.

Two drivers were needed in order to control the complex 6x6 drive and four-wheel steering systems. These were powered by two L motors and two servo motors. It also gave the Leviathan the ability to change drivers, without stopping, on long journeys.

BIGGER

They are muuuch bigger when you're upclose to it. I would see them running in the pond but they look 3x smaller when its in the water.

Life on the factory floor at Magrathea was made easier when the Aliens discovered caterpillar tracks. Although driven by round wheels, these wheels never touched the floor and so the heresy of round wheels was avoided. Naturally the tracks had to be configured into square shapes.

Fortunately the Vehicle Design department of Llwyngwril Systems, famed for building sensible and reliable machines, was on hand to help. They soon came up with a sturdy personal transporter, which met the religious requirements of its driver. The result can be seen in this ancient archive footage.

I've finally got myself a remote control for the Nikon. (I did Day 1 on the Canon using the remote but since then they've all been 10 second dashes or arm's length points...)

I was just messing about with the remote and the 50mm lens and came up with this one - which I rather like. It's sort of how I think I look..?

And I certainly look more cheerful than yesterday eh..?

We got quite a few sweet chuckles from those nearby. God I hope that dude took a pic of his wife staring at me like that!

I'm a bit under the weather today and spent most of my time with tv and press this FAV button on my remote instead of on your photos. LOL :))

This planetary explorer (factory name: “PEX-1ML”) was designed as a mobile base (serving also as a laboratory and an observatory). It has all the necessary equipment to explore terrain of new planets. Its drivetrain and suspension was built to handle very rough terrain, while its body was constructed from materials that can withstand almost any weather conditions.

You can watch a video showcasing all of the functions here: www.flickr.com/photos/186152771@N07/51467442155/
