Again a photo for in the magazine of the Dutch Border Collie Club ... a photo for an article about "a quick fix" of behavioral problems. Ofcourse there's no such thing, but a lot of people seem to think that is possible. Here's a link to the article, written by Debby van Dongen (in Dutch). In the original article there is a photo published from a dog and a remote control ... that triggered me ofcourse to try that with Drift ;) and yes ofcourse he ran of with it haha ! what was I thinking ...

I had a blast running my SPC 2-6-0 over the weekend. This loco has an RC system for the throttle, reverser, and whistle.
I was able to achieve a nice, steady, slow run and was quite happy to get a solid run in for an hour with just a few stops for water to be sure things were good in the boiler.
A few years ago, a friend asked me what I wanted most for my birthday, and I said "A bright yellow Lamborghini". Now I own one...even if it is only 3 inches wide.

3 Bilder an 3 aufeinander folgenden Tagen. Das habe ich noch nicht so häufig gemacht. Doch diese Woche habe ich einfach Lust drauf und auch ein paar frische Bilder :-). Es gibt ja immer solche und solche Bilder....dieses ist nach dem gestrigen Bild www.flickr.com/photos/philippzieger/26210687981/in/datepo... mal ein etwas "leiseres". Die Sonne schlummerte noch irgendwo hinter dem Horizont und dem Morgennebel. Weiche rosa Farben ließen sie schon erahnen und so hatte ich etwas Zeit, ein Selfie auszuprobieren.
Bei der Entfernung von mir zur Kamera, hätte weder ein "10 Sekunden Selbstauslöser" noch meine kleine "Fernbedienung" gereicht. Ich hatte einfach mal die Reichweite für die Kamerainterne Remotecontrol ausprobiert und es wirklich bis auf die letzten Zentimeter ausgereizt. So konnte ich auf meinem Handy ganz entspannt meine Position suchen, die Belichtung einstellen und auf den Auslöser drücken.

With a steady hand and an eye ahead for errant pedestrians and automobiles, the one-man team for this US Steel job runs SW9 #1242 out of the Granite City (IL) Works via belt-pack while switching empty and loaded gondolas. Parked in the distance is SW9 #1246.
The fortunes of this plant have been hit or miss over the past few years but for now, business seems to be pretty consistent.
A wall stands on either side of this arch. Serving as both entrance and exit to "Old Quebec City", exiting cars left their trail.

Remote controls have taken over our lives. How many do you have? To stand up from the sofa to change a TV channel is now a rare event, right? Is this good at all? think... and just press "menu".. your life is safe :-)
This was a self-portrait of Koko and I on the 4th of July. We were at Devil's Punchbowl in California. Our family went to take our remote controlled rock crawlers through the trails. We had a great day!
