I couldn't believe how many photographers were down at the pier today. I've only photographed it once in the 12 years I’ve lived here just because it seems to be the only area photographed here in San Clemente. The tides have been very extreme the past couple of days with the full moon so I looked at the tide chart and noticed low tide would coincide with sunset, so I figured there would be some cool reflections at the pier. I guess everyone else thought the same thing. I was a bit intimidated by everyone and all their fancy gear and tripods but I was surprised to see that they all basically stood in the same place...mere feet from each other...the entire sunset. I usually run around every few frames or so and try to capture as many angles as I can.

Anywaysssss this is one I decided to put up. There’s a lot more but I'm usually too lazy to go through hundreds of photos after taking them.

Thanks for looking!

Sunrise at Whitefish Point in Paridise in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. My wife and I got up early and looked at the sky in the east and saw it glowing bright orange. The temperature was 30 degrees as we reached Whitefish Point and we walked down to the beach to wait for the sun to rise. It was the most beautiful sunrise we have ever seen. We held hands and thought we had just gone to Heaven together.

Miami, at Florida's southeastern tip, is a vibrant city whose Cuban influence is reflected in the cafes and cigar shops that line Calle Ocho in Little Havana. Miami Beach, on barrier islands across the turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay, is home to glamorous South Beach, famed for its colorful art deco buildings, white sand, surfside hotels and trendsetting nightclubs.

I don't know what's the most suprising between celebrating christmas under 18 degress of having sunset time an hour later than back home in my north?

Maybe both ;)

Reflextion of The Fiera di Milano

This Milan Trade Fair, a mile-long exhibition fairground has been designed

by Roman architect Massimiliano Fuksas.

The Fiera covers 2.1 million square feet, provides 20,000 parking spaces and two-dozen restaurants, and by almost every measure stakes a legitimate claim to being called a megastructure.

Late in the afternoon at Sumner beach September 16, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.

Sumner is a coastal seaside suburb of Christchurch. On 22 February 2011, Sumner was hit by the Christchurch earthquake, which destroyed or made uninhabitable a large number of the local houses and commercial buildings. On 13 June the same year, Sumner was hit by another earthquake of almost the same magnitude as the February event. These two earthquakes caused many of Sumner's iconic cliffs to collapse, and many areas to be cordoned off with both traditional fences and, more interestingly, shipping containers.
