Summer
Late in the day and the light has faded to almost nothing...and not so much a shadow as a silhouette passes before me. The fan of Stephen King in me does a little jig knowing that "they" have arrived. Who are "they"...better to ask, what are they. :)

Downtown Columbus Ohio, on the river.. Photo taken from North Bank Park while taking a quick break from photographing a wedding with Nick Fancher (aka. Shutter-Think). This photo looks much better when viewed large.
NOTE: This photo made it into Flickr's 'Explore" as one of the top five hundred most interesting photos on a particular day, which makes me somewhat sad as the actual resulting photos didn't make it, ha! You can see all of my photo's that have made it into the Flickr Explore pages here.

I have posted a view of these fountains before, however they looked so cool at night with the lights coming up from beneat them! I have to hang around about 10 minutes before I could get a set of epxosures with no one around!
Also, thanks to all of you who have continually supported my stream! I just went over 150,000 views in a little over a year on flickr, and I never thought I'd have that many!!
I appreciate all the comments, faves and kind words, and I look forward to contributing to all of your wonderful work in the future!
Enjoy your weeks!
It was a cold but perfectly still night in Lake Tekapo so it allowed me to capture this 15 shot panorama of the milkyway and stars reflecting in the lake. it was an amazing night just being under the stars and taking in this amazing scene. The colour may have been caused by the auroa australis. The glow on the right is the town of lake tekapo.

Another shot from our day of engagement picture taking, down by PNC Park downtown. I know it's a bit tilted, but I like it like that, thought it added a bit to it!
I will be catching up with all of your streams in the morning!
Might be worth a look large if you a second!
Thanks for stopping by my friends!
I had a great day yesterday .... met up with a photobuddy ... had interesting conversations and then spent the afternoon riding around getting some photos - took the wrong turn and fell across this scene!

I was feeling pretty much safe with my tripod on top of one of those rocks.
The regular waves never hit the rock at all, until this one!
Suddenly, I had water above my knees. Held the tripod up to spare the camera (not quite, got it wet...) and prayed.
Later on, I found out that there was a tropical storm coming from south Brazilian coast.
A sequence of huge waves came after this one.
We visited this scenic place early in the morning before the day-trip crowd arrived. It was wonderful to spend some time here and hear the sound of nature and at the adjacent small rectangular lake also known as Lake of Love.
