We keep getting storms and high-country snow this October, but where are all the Fall colors? Late, late, late. But, hiking in shorts and t-shirts with snow in the mountains is kind of a treat. This is a beaver pond in Lundy Canyon, facing west towards the Sierra peaks.
These photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

once again the sunset reminds you that there is a greater being behind it all. how else can you explain the magical colors that were painted across the sky? it was truly a glorious sight!

Taken in Sonoma County, CA, USA. Been a while since I've had the opportunity to shoot, so I had to reach back to the archives for this one:( Happy Valentine's Day!
Thank you for your views, faves and comments. Deeply appreciated.
I wanted to do a modell with a touch of impressionism :-)
I made this for the CC-contest therefore I didn't make it too experimental, though and the "relfection" part is quite small.
I guess I will give the idea another try in the future.
And it's for the category mountain village if course :-)
Merry christmas to all of you!

For the past few days I've been at a loss of what to take pictures of. It's become very frustrating. It's also the end of school next week so that means finals...I'll still try to manage to take pictures.
I got out for a walk between rain storms today to try to see if I could get some relfection shots. Instead I got stuck on the abandoned train tracks taking pictures of fallen leaves.

So I decide to resgister for a 2 morning photography workshop. It was for learning some basic tricks and getting to know the capabilities of your DSLR camera. Since I've only had it since last November I thought it would be helpful. Had my first class last Saturday morning (next class this Saturday) and we learned about apeture (as well at other things) and what it's used for, etc. This is my knowledge put to use... I think it turned out alright... tried using the highest setting to capture all of the scenery...

One of my favorite places to visit Lake Tahoe, NV. On this particular morning I woke up for sunrise but was too late. As I was driving on HWY 28 I saw the light blow-up, instead of running around like a FREAK trying to find a comp I pulled over and enjoyed it.
On my way back I noticed this spot and how the water was nice and calm. Going back to Lake Tahoe next month so I processed and printed this for a family member who lives here. I know this particular image is a bit busy but wanted to post it anyway. Hope you all have a great week. Thanks for your constant support and visits. Jave
Il mondo in cui vive, per quanto bello, non è che un leggerissimo riflesso della immensa realtà momentanea invisibile, spirituale, splendente, che lo attraversa, lo avvolge, lo aspetta.
