This is from an older series I did around this fountain, however somehow this picture got lost and I forgot to post it! I figured since I was a little bit of a fountain kick I would put it up now!

Enjoy your weekends my friends!

Zaterdagavond werd het na een heerlijke zomerse dag s avonds even bewolkt. Ik vond dat niet heel erg in dit geval. ;-)

Closer to home this time. A beautiful sunrise over the Swan River with the water being almost like glass.

the trip to kobe was short but i was able to shoot a lot! this is one of my favorite images of kobe. a garden in the middle of the city, i love how japanese gardens give one a sense of serenity and peace. just beautiful!

A shot of Beaver Lake in Monticello, NY in the Catskills.

In the Apple store in Georgetown, there are large glass orbs that give reflections of Wisconsin Avenue.

Yesterday, knowing I would be shooting at night I strung a hammock and took a nap here in the afternoon. This was a spot I found while exploring with my friend Danny. It will forever be known as napster point. We went back late last night and shot MW shots. Ran into my friend Andrew over at "the tree"... it was sort of crowded so Danny, Andrew and I went back to Napster point... hung out, and shot a few shots. Nothing special other than the expereince of sitting out enjoying dark skies with friends. And that doesn't suck.

We loved this fantastic little pond and surrounding trees glowing with autumn colours in one of the gardens in Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne.

Seattle, Washington

The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, a landmark of the Pacific Northwest, and an icon of Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair, which drew over 2.3 million visitors, when nearly 20,000 people a day used its elevators.

Once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River, it is 605 ft (184 m) high, 138 ft (42 m) wide, and weighs 9,550 tons. It is built to withstand winds of up to 200 miles per hour (89 m/s) and earthquakes of up to 9.1 magnitude,[8] as strong as the 1700 Cascadia earthquake. It also has 25 lightning rods.

It has an observation deck at 520 ft (160 m) and the rotating SkyCity restaurant at 500 ft (150 m). The downtown Seattle skyline, as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands can be viewed from the top of the Needle. Photographs of the Seattle skyline often show the Space Needle prominently, above skyscrapers and Mount Rainier.

Visitors can reach the top of the Space Needle by elevators that travel at 10 miles per hour (4.5 m/s). The trip takes 41 seconds. On windy days, the elevators slow to 5 miles per hour (2.2 m/s). On April 19, 1999, the city's Landmarks Preservation Board designated it a historic landmark

About Sailing Stones

ailing stones, sliding rocks, and moving rocks all refer to a geological phenomenon where rocks move in long tracks along a smooth valley floor without human or animal intervention. They have been recorded and studied in a number of places around Racetrack Playa, Death Valley, where the number and length of travel grooves are notable. The force behind their movement is not confirmed.

Looking across the Dee Estuary round about sunset. HDR in photomatix. The light changed around 3 or 4 times as I walked across the sands back towards my car. It was strangely eerie and beautiful as the wet sands reflected the sky.

A casual moment waiting for a friend becomes a series of moments engrossed with a simple scene and the frame carries me away. But, I love this time and fall directly into it for a few minutes very chance I get. Now, friend in hand, breakfast awaits.
