This is installment number 2 of the Billy Joel collection. It's amazing how Billy captured every day scenarios that anyone can relate to.

This song is dedicated to everyone that is being told what is best for them or that they are doing something wrong.

It's important to have strong convictions and stay true to yourself. While it's great to receive advice from others, ultimately it's up to you to make your own decisions in order to achieve true happiness. Failure to do so can lead to feelings of regret, which can be a burden to bear on your own. It's crucial to follow your dreams and pursue your passions in life, as this is the surest way to live a fulfilling and satisfying life.

Lyrics

Got a call from an old friend we used to be real close

Said he couldn't go on the American way

Closed the shop, sold a house, bought a ticket to the west coast

Now he gives them a stand-up routine in L.A.

I don't need you to worry for me 'cause I'm alright

I don't want you to tell me it's time to come home

I don't care what you say anymore this is my life

Go ahead with your own life leave me alone

I never said you had to offer me a second chance

(I never said you had to)

I never said I was a victim of circumstance

(I never said)

I still belong (still belong)

Don't get me wrong (don't get me wrong)

You can speak your mind but not on my time

They will tell you you can't sleep alone in a strange place

Then they'll tell you you can't sleep with somebody else

Oh, but sooner or later you sleep in your own space

Either way it's okay, you wake up with yourself

I don't need you to worry for me 'cause I'm alright

I don't want you to tell me it's time to come home

I don't care what you say anymore this is my life

Go ahead with your own life leave me alone

I never said you had to offer me a second chance

(I never said you had to)

I never said I was a victim of circumstance

(Gf circumstance)

I still belong (still belong)

Don't get me wrong (don't get me wrong)

You can speak your mind but not on my time

I don't care what you say anymore this is my life

Go ahead with your own life leave me alone

A poorly named morph - uncommon though - of the locally migratory Grey-Bellied cuckoo. Hepatic meaning relating to the liver (like Hepatitis), but here it is used to denote the liver-red color of the bird!

This is a brood parasitic cuckoo that appears during the rainy season and early winters. The bird is quite easily heard due its distinctive call. It lays its eggs in other birds nests like those of Bulbuls and Tailorbirds.

Y'day we witnessed a very interesting feeding frenzy of over 15-20 species of birds in a small 25 sq meter area in the countryside. It was at an intersection of 3 roads - single lane - on a forest road. 100's of moths were coming out of the ground and all the birds were in a frenzy to grab them for breakfast! We were too close (in fact in the middle of it by accident) and hence couldn't get many shots!. This shot was taken during the hunt when this bird landed close to us and grabbed a mouthful of moths before flying away.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback Much appreciated.

Wikipedia: The raccoon (Procyon lotor), sometimes called the common raccoon to distinguish it from other species, is a mammal native to North America. It is the largest of the procyonid family, having a body length of 40 to 70 cm (16 to 28 in), and a body weight of 5 to 26 kg (11 to 57 lb). Its grayish coat mostly consists of dense underfur, which insulates it against cold weather. Three of the raccoon's most distinctive features are its extremely dexterous front paws, its facial mask, and its ringed tail, which are themes in the mythologies of the indigenous peoples of the Americas relating to the animal. The raccoon is noted for its intelligence, as studies show that it is able to remember the solution to tasks for at least three years. It is usually nocturnal and omnivorous, eating about 40% invertebrates, 33% plants, and 27% vertebrates.

Conservation status: Least Concern

This robin reminds me of a little rhyme I relate to children when we go looking for birds on school field trips.

"I am a little robin and I keep my head a bobbin, and I like to rise and catch the early worm. I've eaten all his brothers and half a dozen others, golly, how they tickle when they squirm".

Are you running in a circle?

You can't be too careful

And you can't relate it

'Cause it's complicated

Oh you're gonna get it right some time

It's how you see the world

How many times can you see?

You can't believe what you learn

Is there something missing?

There's nobody listening

Are you scared of what you don't know?

Don't wanna end up on your own?

You need conversation

And information

Gonna get it right sometimes

You just wanna get it right sometimes

It's how you see the world

How many times have you heard?

You can't believe a word

It's how you see the world

Don't you worry yourself

'Cause nobody can learn

Still pulling through a slow order, WAPO is seen approaching the Penney Road overpass on a beautiful fall morning behind CSX C40-8 9280. I'm sure GSP can relate, but this spot has become horribly overgrown in recent years, the only slight consolation being the nice burst of fall colors that it brings.

Let's all think back on what brought us here

This is my grasp on what is real

Don't tell me how I feel

With all that's passed I can't relate

With myself from day to day

why does everything seem so far away

to me

There's no turning back from here

I've got to get away from everyone who's left

Everyone who's left

I'll tell the saddest story

Of how we made it through this past year

(Past year, past year...)

I'll tell the saddest story

Of how we made it through this past year

(Past year, past year...)

They said we'd walk away

You'll never make it if you can't speak for yourself

they said we'd fade away

We've all been down this path before

You're trapped in this town

And it wears you down

When we leave today then maybe you'll understand

This constant struggle isn't always in the palm of my hand

Theme : Red on White Background ».

The commonly accepted symbolism of these colors is that red is the "liturgical color that evokes blood or fire" and "white evokes purity, but even more so divine glory and the brilliance of everything that relates to God. It is the color of the resurrection."

Scam or mistake - you decide! This relates to copyright accusation (libellous) on my original photo 'G'Day' of this same flower on my photostream where someone is trying to claim it as theirs.

This photograph here is also of the same flower, taken as the EXIF data shows - exactly 2 and a half minutes after the first, but from a slightly different angle.

Did the person alleging copyright breach take this one also? If they think someone with a 90% sight loss is an easy touch - that would be a mistake.

I have also added on my photostream a photo of the same flower *G'Day 2* taken just now after the accusation with the same yellow dogwood and rose leaves. In this one the dahlia is looking tired.

You can see the original accusation and my responses on my original photo here.

The house relates to the middle 19th Century; its last owner was Kuryk Mykola Vasylovych. The house comprises of three parts – a house, a mudroom and a small house. Its external walls aren’t covered, only strips are painted around its windows and doors. Such strips are specific for houses from Vyzhytskyj and Putylivskyj districts of Chernivtsi Region. Art painting and strips are very distinct decorations for houses of lowland Bukovyna. The house’s joyful interior is created by grapes depicted on the stove, around windows and on pokut (the sacred place of a traditional home). The most widespread patterns in Korytne village are grapes, arrow-wood leaves, hops and crosses on bases.

The house is built of smereka and poplar wood, its area equals to 58.8 square meters.

It relates to 18th Century. As of the time of transfer to the museum, the house was the oldest in the village and belonged to Oros family. The house has two premises: house and mudroom. It is one of the most ancient types of house planning in Zakarpattia. Walls of the house are constructed with wide oak cut blocks. Its high four-sloping roof is covered with straw.

This house is the oldest Zakarpattia house in our museum. It displays specific features of national building in valley of Tereblia-river and the middle reaches of Tysa River. The house’s area is 35.4 square meters.

Washington is a city in Beaufort County, North Carolina, United States, located on the northern bank of the Pamlico River. The population was 9,744 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Beaufort County. It is commonly known as "Original Washington" or "Little Washington" to distinguish it from Washington D.C. The closest major city is Greenville, approximately 20 miles (32 km) to the west.

Established in 1776 on land donated by Col. James Bonner, Washington is the first city named after George Washington, the first president of the United States.

Washington has a range of historical buildings and landmarks, with some dating back to colonial times and others of Victorian and Arts and Crafts design. A self-guided Historic Walking Tour allows visitors to explore the neighborhoods. A Farmer's and Artisan's Market is held regularly on the town's green areas on the waterfront.

The North Carolina Estuarium, located on the Pamlico River, includes more than 200 scientific and historic exhibits relating to the ecology of North Carolina's estuaries, the Tar-Pamlico River and Pamlico Sound. The Estuarium also includes a 3/4 mile boardwalk along the Pamlico River.

The Turnage Theatre, a restored historic vaudeville and movie theater, reopened in the downtown area in 2014 and hosts plays and other types of live entertainment. Between 1993 and 2017 a downtown music and art festival called "Music in the Streets" was held every third Friday during summer to attract people to downtown shops and restaurants. A cannonball from the Union attack on Washington during the American Civil War is displayed in an attorney's office on Water Street, and many nearby towns also contain Civil War artifacts and museums. Civil War re-enacters meet in the outskirts of Washington every year. (Wikipedia)

The beginnings of the Polish State relate to the history of Poznan, especially to Ostrów Tumski - an island on the Warta River which is part of the modern Poznan. The photo shows the interior of this first Polish cathedral. It is probably here that Prince Mieszko I was the first to be baptized and inscribed Poland on the pages of Roman Catholic church history. The marble of the cathedral floor is engraved with the names of the Polish kings for whom Poznan was home and Poznan Cathedral a place of eternal rest.

(From my personal digital photo archive, 2013)

The hermitage of San Bartolomé (Saint Bartholomew) is a temple in the Spanish province of Soria. It is located inside the natural park of the Cañón del Río Lobos, province of Soria, Spain.

It was built in the first quarter of the 13th century, when the Romanesque style gave way to the Gothic, a transition that was reflected in that architectural work.

It was part of a monastery of which only the chapel remains.

It has a plan in the shape of a Latin cross, with three chapels. The two rose windows deserve to be highlighted, one on each gable end of the transept, oriented to the southeast and northwest, whose lattices evoke Muslim influences in the form of the interlacing that makes up a lobed five-pointed star. They have three archivolts of which only the external one is decorated.

Some authors relate its existence to the possibility that for a time it belonged to the Order of the Templars, although there is no documentation that can be verified.

It is possible that it is confused with the Hermitage of San Juan de Otero, of which only the foundations and little else remain.

Although the dedication of the hermitage to Saint Bartholomew, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus who, according to the tradition of the Armenian church, was crucified upside down, skinned alive and beheaded, could be related to the Knights Templar who worshiped various saints who died after being beheaded. Let's not forget the supposed Templar's cult of Baphomet. (Source: Wikipedia)

(Fuente: Wikipedia)
