The first time I had a margarita in Mexico, it came with the glass rimmed with a mixture of salt and chili pepper. The chili adds a nice touch of heat to the drink.
Shot for the November 6th theme of Garnish for the Macro Mondays group.
A glass of tea. The way I am celebrating moments and slowing down the daily pace.
I am not drinking coffee anymore, I think I was addicted to it, having 3 or more cups daily. I feel better, physically, with a tea.
Picture sooc, used newly programmed recipe from FXWeekly.
This morning I saved a set of recipes on the X-Pro1, little later on X-E2. Will do the same on X-T2 and fill some slots with various settings. That's refreshing way of taking pictures.
-19 degrees Celcius today. I decided to walk Komsa to see the sun and the colours. Cold but beautiful. It has been snowing for days. It was not possible to walk up there without snow shoes yesterday. Someone made a nice path for me to walk
After being confined to the office for an entire week I finally managed to go out for a wee stroll.
Spending a few hours roaming the countryside with my dog Bert in fresh air and lovely sunshine does cheer me up quite a bit....
After two weeks of poor air quality around us from the smoke of two large wildfires, the wind shifted and our air quality improved greatly today. I had to get out, so I headed for one of my favorite places on the Continental Divide to breathe in the fresh, cool, rarefied air near 12,000 feet. It was 83 degrees at our house at 8710 feet and 58 degrees on The Divide.
This is the bottom third of Multnomah Falls... the bit you see at the top is a hint of the huge falls above this one!
It is always good to know, if only in passing, charming human beings. It refreshes one like flowers and woods and clear brooks.

Some little flowers in a littler jug - placed under a table lamp. These little charmers have been with me for over a week now. Little rays of beauty. (I seem to have used lots of little words here ...)
Picniked.
A slice of refreshing water for this continued heat wave we're experiencing.
Hottest June by a lot in the Pacific Northwest.
Hottest year ever so far as well. And we just entered the 2 months where we normally get some heat, rarely this hot though. Wildfires already run amok. Crazy weather.
Hope the weather is better where you are.
Enjoy a cool Thursday.
The center fountain in the Central Park Conservatory Garden.
www.centralparknyc.org/locations/conservatory-garden. It had been shut off for about a year while the this part of the park went under renovation. I think the fountain got new piping. I happened to be passing by as they were turning it on after the renovation. Later in the day it was shut off again only to be turned on a few days later for the "reopening" of the garden.
Swallow-tailed Kite ~ (Elanoides forficatus)
On a steamy Florida morning, it always feels good to start your morning off with a nice refreshing dip in the water.
Thanks for visiting!
with the very high temperatures and the high humidity it's nice to have this mountain river close to me to take a swim.

To be poured like a drink.
The bubbles fizz.
Gathered around, enriched in desire.
To quench the pursuit of pleasure.
Snapping the top proceeding to pour.
Cold to taste.
This was the comfort I felt surrounded
in her arms.
A glass seen half full continuing to pour.
Filling the space around.
Drowning just beneath the rim of glass.
An extension of myself caught in great advantage.
The settlement before the first sip.
Compensating the thrill of being swallowed whole.
In terms of affection.
It was a hug I'd never forget.
A thought that leads into physical manifestation.
The bliss of the moment,
The moment her lips pop at the taste.
Bubbles fizz crackling in the midst of excitement.
Tickling her nose.
The memory of how things were.
Drunk until nothing is left
The reality of how things really are.......
Nothing like an ice cold drink on a hot summer day. ;)
It was so hot last week and this week it's been so cold. I just want it to be warm.

My drink this evening became the POTD as I really do not have any original ideas at the moment.......oh I remember this feeling well last time round, hopefully I get home tomorrow before it gets dark and I can get a shot outside.
Trafalgar Falls is a twin waterfall which is located in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park in the vicinity of the village with the same name, in the southern part of the Caribbean island nation of the Commonwealth of Dominica. wordpress.com/post/waytomakeatravel.wordpress.com/739
Waterfall features two different swimming holes - Father and Mother - named for each tier of the falls respectively. The 'Father' is about 200-ft tall while the 'Mother' is just over 100-ft. The water here is incredibly refreshing, and you can even find natural Jacuzzis formed by rocks at the base of each waterfall. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even cliff jump into the pool below. bookinghotelin.wordpress.com/caribbean/ @bookinghotelin
Found this photo that I took in August while testing out OM System's OM-1. It barely rained last summer and temperatures were higher than ever; and birds scarce. They were desperate for water and the nearby river was about to dry out completely. Luckily it didn't. One day while I was with the OM-1 and some Black Redstarts in the field, raindrops started appearing through my visor. Finally some refreshing rain.
