Profiles with a slight turn are my undoing. I love the look of them so much.

The Coca-Cola bottles in the states are aluminum. Why doesn't Canada have those yet?

Having a cold, crisp lager in a 900-year-old English pub was quite .... refreshing!

(I know... I know... this was taken a few weeks ago - I promise to do better.)

Nothing better than a quick shower at the beach to wash off that saltwater after surfing off Waikiki Beach.

face ,body and mind..

This empty Culligan bottle was just sitting there, needing to be photographed. I was kicking back, watching some classic Star Wars with the boys, and I realized that our coffee table is glass. The creative, now Strobist influenced, mind starting thinking.

So I took the bottle and put it on top of the table. With my Vivtar 285hv below the table, shooting upwards. A few test shots and walla!

What do you think?

It is so grey out that I needed some colors!! They are forecasting a snow blizzard for tomorrow :(

I talked to a man who lives across Rt. 250 from the store, and he said it closed up in the late 1980's, though someone tried to turn it into a junk/antique store that didn't do much business. To see that old hand-cranked pump though is something else.

I started out with the 28mm, then 35mm, and finished with the 50mm/f1.4. All good lenses, no issues with flare. I had the appropriate OEM hoods on them all.
