Small pack of 14 dogs, including pups, came to rest by a pool of water after a busy morning hunting. The adults all took a long drink before taking a rest while the pups played in the background.

Sorry not to have called by your collections of late, I have been traveling without internet connection.

I had another play with fruit this afternoon.

Any comments with any photo from your photostream will be deleted =)

After the late October bomb cyclone in Northern California, streams are now full and watersheds recharged. The sight of recharged streams makes great fodor for the camera.

"It is better to keep a friend from falling than to have to help him up" ....How Refreshing!

Like these Palm Trees...."Standin' Tall Together!"

( I had to think about that for a minute, but it makes me want to be more aware of what is going on with my friends and to be available for them "sooner" than "later"....both are a breath of fresh air I believe and welcomed at either point, but it seems clear which choice is best....just some food for thought : )

"Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing."

And THANK YOU for all your encouragement just like the verse says above! Have a great week! I feel so blessed to be flickr friends with you...you are awesome....in so MANY ways....your photography, your words, your humor, your kindness....You light up my life! Thank you! May you really enjoy your week!

p.s. Thank you for your patience....I am catching up...and I will catch up! : ) My Fall is always so very full, but I am not willing to give you all up...you are worth the time...and my heart is hooked : ) ...so if you will bear with me, i will press on as I can : )

I know it's supposed to be World of Color Wednesday but I thought a different and more refreshing fountain shot would be appropriate due to the uber high temperatures lately. This is the fountain at Carthay Circle. I tried to capture the little droplets as they flew through the air with shimmering light reflecting off of them.

Near Horsham, Mount Arapiles (Dyuritte), on the traditional lands of the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk peoples, is a mecca for rock-climbers and it's easy to see why with its huge flat walls that have varying degrees of scaleability.

We visited on a gloriously refreshing autumn day and the mountain was packed with campers and climbers.

Stopping at The Pines campground to take these images was a must do. The campground was packed and most people camping are there to climb the mountain.

Rock paintings at Taylor's Rock have been recently discovered near the Mount and work is currently underway to protect them. Please do not be a numpty and ignore signage to not step foot on sacred land just for a climb, a photo or, god-forbid, a selfie with the artefacts.

This cool cave in Indonesia was one of the highlights of my trip. It was about an hour ride on motorbike up to a small town on the coast. The road was undergoing some construction so it was really rough. I almost laid the bike down in some loose gravel! Fortunately I was going slow. Once at the village, I walked down to the shore and found a guy who was willing to take me to the cave. As soon as I got on the boat, about 20 kids all jumped on for the ride! The kids kept me good company on the way there. Once in the cave, I jumped in for a refreshing swim. When you swim under the back part, it opens up into another large chamber where you can climb the wall and jump off. Tons of fun! But then the light started getting good, so I got out and took a few photos. It wasn't until I processed this one that I could see all the silt I stirred up in the water when I got out. It probably would have taken awhile for it to settle back out. The tide had gone out by the time I exited, and I had to walk a good ways through the water to get to the boat. The kids were having fun swimming and goofing off. Experiences like these make me appreciate the simple things in life!

After all that exploring around Slopelos Town, we grab ourselves a lovely Frappe (a Greek iced coffee) and return to the boat to continue our days adventure.

Jugglin' Joe at Gunther's Ice Cream Parlor - Sacramento, CA

It's so hot here (98°F) today an ice cream parlor would be the best place to hang out at night with a refreshing cold dish of banana split. Soo sweet! It'll put me in a coma. ;- )

Are you old enough to remember Thrifty Drug store's five cent a scoop cone? Triple scoop here would cost you almost nine dollars. Can I afford it? I'm on a fixed income...

Since Flickr's Camera Roll is still broken I have no idea how many times I have posted this sign shot. Wonder if it's ever coming back...

I was a little to late for the "show me game" but here is my Refreshing beverage for the day. I was surprised that my dish towel made such a nice backdrop :-D

Me and my cousin went up to Poring Hot Spring at Kinabalu National Park yesterday for some possible waterfall shoot but there were so many visitors at the big waterfall I ended up with this small ‘waterfall’. The big waterfall is at the upper level of this spot. I did shoot a few but its all crap with ghostly people image on my photos. We decided to jump and swim (big waterfall not this one) and spend couple of hours swimming & lolling around the pool. It was fun and the water were very refreshing: D

Of cos I bring an extra cloth :D
