This was one of my most favorite shoots ever. The photography gods were definitely in a great mood. Shayla and I both have social anxiety issues but we are so comfortable with each other. She is one of the easiest and most gorgeous models I have ever worked with. We finished this shoot on a lovely evening in late September, just as the temperatures started to drop. The water in the Boise River was quite cold but that didn't stop Shayla. She was turning blue by the time we finished. Life is very, very good!
An early morning view of Ramona Falls on a warm June day. The spray and cool air from the Falls was a welcome reprieve after the uphill hike out to the Falls.

It is very refreshing to sit and watch the waves crash against the rocks at the Oregon Coast. I could have sat at this spot all day long. :-)

As a small herd of cows and calves made their way across the Oconaluftee River, most of them took the chance to enjoy a refreshing drink. The water here is still chilly, thanks to its source high up in the Smoky Mountains. After sipping the cool water or wading through a deep pool that nearly covers them, you can often see a change in their mood, they come out of the river looking and acting refreshed and reenergized.
Let's take a short, refreshing trip on the crystal clear waters of the tiny streams that connect the Hillstreet lakes near Kilcloghan in Ireland. All that florishes here in the wild underwaters of a bogland untouched, will cost you a small fortune in your everyday garden centre at home. Enjoy.

Day 187 - Its suppose to be summer and its miserable outside so I will fake it with some flashes. Refreshing lemon.
Due to a shoulder injury photography has slowed down again, I feel like the Dot Cotton of the picture world lol.
Anyway dying to take pictures so done some indoor stuff with some lager and lighting.
I placed the glass on my black acrylic sheet with a roll of black poster paper behind.
For the lighting I used my elemental zeppelin studio head on the floor pointing at the background at 1/32 power.
I used 2x flashguns set at 1/8 power either side of the glass and all were fired via a Yongnuo RF602 trigger and receivers.
