Second example of the brand new Matchbox 2020 Ram Rebel which debuts in the more premium Collectors series. Not what I would consider a full premium diecast but it does run to all round tampo detailing, an opening hood and better looking wheels. Mint and boxed.

Seems like the rebels have captured a prototype Hovertank and modified it to fit their needs.
In this case its seems they have added a DShK heavy machine gun. They also removed the side mounted cannons as they made the vehicle too clumsy in urban environments and removing them improved the weight of the vehicle.
Due to its forward facing dual cannons, its role against conventional tanks and vehicles is rather limited and will mostly likely be used for armored breakthroughs against fortifications & as well as serving as a troop carrier.
It can be somewhat seen as a armored technical truck and it has many possible variations and uses.

This is my first version of the rebel modified hover tank, I have some other versions that you guys will see in the very near future that are pretty neat as well! I don't know what it is about this set but I really liked it and for me is one of the better Star Wars sets in recent memory. And although I had already published some similar concept to this one before, this time I have more depth to it.
I also love how the rebels seem to fit quite well with the vehicle, well I suppose that could be said about most rebels in captured vehicles haha. And having them have Brickarms AKs feels meant to be!
winter has been hard in Garheim and it is customary after a feast to bring the leftovers to the needy, which is what we see Sir Angus and Brother Steven doing in this scene.
But danger approaches...

Punishment of the Rebels (or of the sons of Korah) [1482]

Description
The painting depicts three episodes and tells of a rebellion by the Israelites against Moses and Aaron.
On the right the rebels attempt to stone Moses after becoming disenchanted by their trials on their emigration from Egypt. Joshua has placed himself between the rebels and Moses, protecting him from the stoning.
The center scene shows the rebellion with Korah and the conspirators being driven out by Moses and Aaron, as high priest wearing the papal tiara.
To the left, the ground opens and the two principal conspirators sink into it. The children of Korah are spared the fate of their father.
The painting is framed by golden faux-architecture with an inscribed titulus above. The texts attached to the paintings of the Sistine Chapel inform the educated congregants in the papal chapel of the subject matter of the paintings; the tituli work to reveal both the identity of the figures, the content of the scenes with the Biblical narratives, and their exegesis.[1]
In the background of the painting is a Roman triumphal arch modelled closely on the Arch of Constantine, from the late antique period, which also included elements of earlier imperial monuments. The real Arch of Constantine's inscription is replaced by a cautionary inscription paraphrased from the Vulgate translation of Hebrews 5:4:[1]
nemo♦sibi♦assum
mat♦honorem♦nisi
vocatus♦adeo
tanquam♦aaron
(And no man taketh this honour [the priesthood] unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. – kjv)
The intended message of the painting is clear, no one should doubt the authority of the Pope over the Church. The power of the papacy was constantly being questioned at the time.

A couple nights ago I had a dream where an uprising of hybrid anthropological "mice men" stormed into my town and took over the local governing authority, starting a revolt against the police. The imagery from this dream kept playing back in my head, so this is a photographic representation of the rebel leader.

Walking the street of Homs. People open up and talk to me. As I appear as a western carrying a large camera. To their surprise I respond with my Homsi slang. This man was a rebel helping fighting the Iran backed Assad regime in the old town. Now he sells delicious grape leaves. A strong fit man

Tired young rebels residing inside a destroyed public bus... Protesters claim that they had to blockade the roads to Taksim Square to stop the police from attacking with gas bombs and water cannons. It's hard to tell if this particular bus became a victim of vandalism and anger, or served as an instrument of self-defence...

Do you ever feel like the rebel of your own soul? As if any rule, any standard, or any boundary you set up for yourself is at the mercy of your own reckless actions? Have you had the feeling of being trapped in the circle of your decisions or that every bold step you take forward you secretly take two steps backward? I know those feelings. In fact, I've lived with those feelings. I have discovered that its not just an abstract thought - it is a reality. I am the rebel of my own soul. At first, the natural reaction is an overwhelming sense of tragedy. I feel tragically stranded in a sea of my own sinfulness, doomed to disappoint my God and break my standards for the end of time. I feel as if even God no longer understands or cares to hear my prayer. But then, so sweetly the Lord reminds me,
"My child, I understand. For I look into your heart and know your thoughts. If you were to fly away in the sky or drift away in the sea, I would still be there with you because I've told you that I will never leave you, nor forsake you. So cast all your cares on Me, because I care for you."
Then I remember that God can conquer the rebel of my soul, that I'm not hopleslessly stranded in the sea of my sinfulness and that He does care to hear my prayer. Broken before my saviour, I repent. I call sin what He calls sin and thank Him for His unconditional love and abundant forgiveness. I can then rid myself of the rebel of my soul and willingly allow the Lord to be the ruler of my soul.
