My usual tool, these days: a Canon Rebel XTi, protected with a Camera Armor case, sporting the kit 18-55 lens.
I often use a 50mm f1.8 on it also, but when I'm out-and-about, travelling light, not specifically picture hunting, this is the rig.
The strap is a little customized. I struggled to get a tiny split ring over each of the strap bars. On each of these, I use a larger split ring. I reverse the ends of the Domke strap so the clips engage the larger spit rings. That makes it extremely fast to get the strap on-and-off, making it more convenient to use with a tripod, (when I want the whole strap out of the way), or when I want to switch cameras. I can unclip the camera, put it in the bag, and clip the other camera to the stap very quickly without ever even taking the strap off my neck.

A little focus issue, but this is a Rebel flyby. Still ran great even with the PA added. Every car except the powered car has 6 axles each!
I settled on this head for my Tom of Finland Rebel body but it needs more work. the skin tones are off so I will need to repaint the torso. i also need to fashion a more permanent neck joint. I don't know what I'll do about clothes.
