Gerbera
In 1737, the gerbera plant was discovered by a botanist. This botanist worked together with a German doctor: Traugott Gerber. This is also where the gerbera gets its name from. A huge number of gerberas were exported, but now the Netherlands is an important country for growing gerberas and more and more new varieties are being grown. www.regiobloemist.nl/bloemengids/gerbera

To me this is the more interesting side of Thompson's Flouring Mill. When I was back there windows were open and some were missing. Swallows perpetually darted through the air eating insects. The front of the building is painted nicely, but as you can see the paint on the rear is peeling. Definitely a Bates Motel vibe. Shooting in infrared light made it seem even more creepy.
