A couple years ago when I was walking near here I saw a big snake in the shade under a bench. The snake wasn't there today, but as I walked to this fence I was worried I would come across one in the grass.
I actually am okay with snakes if I know they are there and if it isn't a rattlesnake.

Testing my Cannon Rebel T3 with some apples. No photo editing done. Need to play around with shutter speed/Fstop.
Seems like the rebels have captured a prototype Hovertank and modified it to fit their needs.
In this case its seems they have added a DShK heavy machine gun. They also removed the side mounted cannons as they made the vehicle too clumsy in urban environments and removing them improved the weight of the vehicle.
Due to its forward facing dual cannons, its role against conventional tanks and vehicles is rather limited and will mostly likely be used for armored breakthroughs against fortifications & as well as serving as a troop carrier.
It can be somewhat seen as a armored technical truck and it has many possible variations and uses.

This is my first version of the rebel modified hover tank, I have some other versions that you guys will see in the very near future that are pretty neat as well! I don't know what it is about this set but I really liked it and for me is one of the better Star Wars sets in recent memory. And although I had already published some similar concept to this one before, this time I have more depth to it.
I also love how the rebels seem to fit quite well with the vehicle, well I suppose that could be said about most rebels in captured vehicles haha. And having them have Brickarms AKs feels meant to be!

Taksim, Beyoğlu, Istanbul. 6-6-2013.
Tired young rebels residing inside a destroyed public bus... Protesters claim that they had to blockade the roads to Taksim Square to stop the police from attacking with gas bombs and water cannons. It's hard to tell if this particular bus became a victim of vandalism and anger, or served as an instrument of self-defence...

Do you ever feel like the rebel of your own soul? As if any rule, any standard, or any boundary you set up for yourself is at the mercy of your own reckless actions? Have you had the feeling of being trapped in the circle of your decisions or that every bold step you take forward you secretly take two steps backward? I know those feelings. In fact, I've lived with those feelings. I have discovered that its not just an abstract thought - it is a reality. I am the rebel of my own soul. At first, the natural reaction is an overwhelming sense of tragedy. I feel tragically stranded in a sea of my own sinfulness, doomed to disappoint my God and break my standards for the end of time. I feel as if even God no longer understands or cares to hear my prayer. But then, so sweetly the Lord reminds me,
"My child, I understand. For I look into your heart and know your thoughts. If you were to fly away in the sky or drift away in the sea, I would still be there with you because I've told you that I will never leave you, nor forsake you. So cast all your cares on Me, because I care for you."
Then I remember that God can conquer the rebel of my soul, that I'm not hopleslessly stranded in the sea of my sinfulness and that He does care to hear my prayer. Broken before my saviour, I repent. I call sin what He calls sin and thank Him for His unconditional love and abundant forgiveness. I can then rid myself of the rebel of my soul and willingly allow the Lord to be the ruler of my soul.

A large MOC to end the year with! The Gozanti is one of my best performing models, but it badly needed an update. So I did another one, designed it from the ground up. The scale is 1:87, so not figscale as that would be roughly twice as big. The exterior is based on Rebels, the interior is inspired by the Gozanti variant from the Mandolorian.
