Alright so here is the story according to the owner:
"0750 was delivered new to Caracas-Venezuela in 1958. The owner took 0750 to the Cuban Grand Prix in 196 (the GP where Juan Manuel Fangio was abducted by the Castro rebels) The driver was killed in a practice crash and the car was destroyed. The engine went to California and most of the rest of the car went to Italy. 250 GTE (#2843) was used in the 1980s to reconstruct the car. I bought the car in 1989 in boxes from Italy with Joe Marchetti and had Wayne Obry of Motion Products in Nennan Wi put it back together in 1993"
According to a Ferrari enthusiast:
"Back in November, 2000, 0750 TR was at Terry Hoyle's shop in England, owned at the time by Bernie Carl. It was rumored that it was one of several 250 Testa Rossas numbered 0750 TR. So it's possible that there are/were more than one 250 TR numbered 0750 TR, and with that possibility comes the possibility that there's more than one engine stamped 0750 TR. Also, the engine from 0750 TR has been seen in other 250 TRs, including 0710 and 0718.
I saw a 250 TR engine, stamped 0750 TR, 16 May 2010, in a 625 TRC, s/n 0672 MDTR, when Bruce Meyer brought it to the annual Concorso Italiano on Colorado Blvd., in Old Pasadena, CA.
I don't know if engine 0750 is still in 0672 MDTR, but because of the maybe-true rumor that there was more than one 250 TR stamped 0750 TR, it stands to reason that there was more than one engine stamped 0750 TR.
So it IS possible that 2843 GT, the Series I 250 GTE 2+2-turned-250TR-replica in these images has a 250 TR engine that wears serial number 0750 TR; but, as of this moment, it's still unclear as to WHO has the REAL 250 TR engine stamped 0750 TR from the factory. So, additional research must be conducted.
As for the story surrounding the real 0750 TR, it's true. It was a standard customer car, originally owned by an Italian club racer. Around 1959, it was sold to Ettore Chimeri of Venezuela, who crashed it during practice for the Cuban Grand Prix in Havana, in February, 1960. Chimeri was killed, and the car was badly burned and stripped for parts. After that, the engine found its way to California, first installed in 0710, then in 0718. Meanwhile, the remains of the 0750 chassis and body were imported to France.
By 1988, Ron Spangler of the Prancing Horse Farm was reconstructing the remains of 0750 TR; he had an unnumbered engine block, but the timing case was numbered 0750. A year later, engine 0750 TR was for sale through Bob Parrish at Grand Prix Motors of Seattle, WA. Fast forward to November, 2000, and that's when 0750 TR (the whole car, not just the engine) was seen in England at Terry Hoyle's shop.
Quite a story; quite a history. Then again, most Ferraris of this age have lived extraordinary lives"

Been collecting this range for a while now. Love the size and shape. Only need three more models to complete the lot - Cobalt and Royal blue and Grape green.
The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (350D) uses this switch to tell it that an external flash unit is mounted. If the switch is depressed, the camera will not pop up the onboard flash and will not fire the onboard flash even if it is popped up.
Rebel Girl
Song by
Bikini Kill
That girl thinks she's the queen of the neighborhood
She's got the hottest trike in town
That girl, she holds her head up so high
I think I wanna be her best friend, yeah
Rebel girl, rebel girl
Rebel girl, you are the queen of my world
Rebel girl, rebel girl
I think I wanna take you home, I wanna try on your clothes, ooh
When she walks, the revolution's coming
In her hips, there's revolution
When she talks, I hear the revolution
In her kiss, I taste the revolution
Rebel girl, rebel girl
Rebel girl, you are the queen of my world
Rebel girl, rebel girl
I know I wanna take you home, I wanna try on your clothes, ooh
That girl thinks she's the queen of the neighborhood
I got news for you, she is
They say she's a slut, but I know
She is my best friend, yeah
Rebel girl, rebel girl
Rebel girl, you are the queen of my world
Rebel girl, rebel girl
I think I wanna take you home, I wanna try on your clothes
Love you like a sister always
Soul sister, rebel girl
Come and be my best friend
Will you, rebel girl?
I really like you
I really wanna be your best friend
Be my rebel girl

This is my last year MOC. I used vintage bricks with new era bricks (received as a gift for Christmas).
Untaxed since March 1994, this little Reliant looked a little forlorn. I've never seen or heard of a Rebel, thinking the only small 4 wheeled Reliant was the Kitten.

Another European Starling fledgling. This one rebeled and turned its back on the rest of the family who was practicing flying to a nearby tree.
