For the first time in 15 years, the Snowbirds performed in the Edmonton Airshow.

Our friends Renate and Dallas have an acreage near the Villeneuve Airport where this year's Edmonton Airshow was hosted. The Snowbirds had a long demonstration and near the end, they flew very close to us. It was a wonderful site to behold. It was a very windy day and I was surprised at how tight their formation was.

For the Grey Cup (finale of the Canadian Football League) in Hamilton the RCAF did a 4 aircraft formation overfly - the aircraft then stayed overnight at YHM

The Canadian Snowbirds demonstration team did a quick fly-by yesterday and I had a moment (actually 1/4000sec!) to get a shot.

This is the only airworthy Blenheim Fighter Bomber in the world,

This airframe is from Canadian-built Bolingbroke IV RCAF 10201, but in 2003 was involved in a landing accident, it was decided to rebuild the aircraft to Mk1 as a British-built Blenheim which the RAF would have used, Blenheim’s were both used by Bomber and Fighter Commands during World War II
