This Boeing Globemaster 3 C17 is pretty close over my head. Within seconds of releasing the shutter, the noise is deafening and the turbulence is incredible. But it's a cool experience:)

The Airbus CC-330 Husky is an in-development Royal Canadian Air Force version of the Airbus A330 MRTT based on the civilian Airbus A330. Nine aircraft will replace the existing Airbus CC-150 Polaris fleet of five aircraft in the strategic transport and air refueling roles.
This aircraft is mainly used by the Canadian Government for official duties

The Aurora Structural Life Extension Project (ASLEP) involved replacing wings and horizontal stabilizers on the aircraft, which will extend the operational life of the CP-140 Aurora fleet to the 2030 timeframe.

The RCAF is acquiring a new fleet of aircraft to replace the CC-150 Polaris. Known as the CC-330 Husky, this new fleet will be comprised of nine aircraft (a mix of four new and five used A330-200), and will conduct multiple tasks such as in-flight refuelling of other aircraft, military personnel and cargo airlift, medical evacuations, and strategic transport of Government of Canada officials.

The heli wreck was located near the border between Thailand and Cambodia and had crashed on 1st April 1998 with approx. 30 people, including ten foreign journalists and a British diplomat. The dangerously overloaded helicopter foundered on its approach to the temple, bumped the ground twice before turning on its side, breaking up and detonating at least one landmine in the border-area (you can still see barbed-wire next to it). The passengers suffered only minor injuries.

Also written as Preah Vihear Temple is an ancient Hindu temple built by the Khmer Empire, located on top of a 525-metre (1,722 ft) cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains, in the Preah Vihear province of Cambodia. Construction of the first temple on the site began in the early 9th century and is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
