Josephine Kaisers Miniatur-Pin-up-Skulpturen und erotische Scherenschnitte existieren zwischen Traum und Wirklichkeit, verbinden Unschuld und Verführung. Die Künstlerin arbeitet mit farbiger Fimo-Bastelknete: Jede Figur ist eine Intarsienarbeit.
Josephine Kaiser's miniture-pin-up-sculptures and her erotic paper cut silhouettes excist between dream and reality, combine innocence and seduction. The artist works with colored tinker knead: Every figure is an inlay work.
Ray Moores ursprünglich anmutende Arbeiten drücken sich durch eine gestische und sehr unmittelbare Arbeitsweise aus. Ray's fantasievolle und eigentümliche Figuren reflektieren ein urbanes Leben und seine musikalischen Wurzeln aus seiner Heimat dem Mississippi, USA.
Ray Moore's prestine appearing works express his gestural and immediate mode of working. Ray's imaginative and particular figures reflect urban life and his musical heritage from the Mississippi, USA.
Taken in March 2006 at Enoshima Aquarium. This photo was previously scratched beyond repair by my old Nikon F3, but I was able save it in photoshop. Nikon F3, Nikkor 50mm f/1.2, Neopan Presto 400.

I had been telling my husband, since we saw the movie 'Ray', about this time I saw Ray Charles in concert. I was sifting through some boxes of keepsakes today and came across this ticket. I thought for sure I had thrown it away.
I'm from Wisconsin but our high school marching band was performing at Disney World & Sea World during Easter Vacation/Spring Break. Our jazz band had been chosen to perform for the National School Board Association. Thus, explaining how I ended up at this performance. I probably didn't appreciate the concert as much as I would today . That being said, I loved the performance and knew I was in the presence of a great musical talent. Ray was phenomenal. He played song after song, only stopping to talk to the audience from time to time or to comment on the song he had just performed. Most musicians I have seen in concert stop two or more times to at least take a sip of water. Not Ray. He just kept playing song after song for over an hour. I could not believe how much energy such an old man could have! He had such a wonderful stage presence. I fell in love with him immediately. To me, he was one of those people you cannot help but like. The one moment that has really stuck with me through all these years was Ray playing 'Georgia'. The audience, mostly school board members and teachers from all over the country, went wild! I have loved the song (the live recording) ever since. I knew I would never see another performance so alive as that one. That experience made having to play my bass clarinet while wearing a nasty black & orange polyester/wool blend suit at Disney World in the 105 degree, hot noon sun absolutely worth it.

As the light got brighter, more and more people would walk around the lake and watch the sun rise. The burning brightness of the sun's ray was reduced by the coolness of the morning mist.
Had the opportunity to shoot with two very creative and talented photographers.

Meet Ray. He was a spectator made believer. When we saw him walking toward us from a distance we joked around and said, "Look its the wizard's brother!".haha..This guy walks over, hops in front of the lights and camera and gave the wizard a punch to the gut. When I showed him the picture on my screen, he was "juiced"..Thanks Ray for being a great sport and sharing your long lost innerchild with us for those few moments..
