I tried to photograph a ski run light in Whistler. The shot turned out to have unintentional, but interesting effects.

According to Wikipedia, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Halloween_Tree , On October 31, 2007, Ray Bradbury attended the presentation of a Halloween Tree at Disneyland in California, to be included as part of its annual park-wide Halloween decorations every year. The Halloween Tree at Disneyland pays homage to Bradbury's novel by the same name, and is located in Frontierland across from the Shooting Gallery and next to the boardwalk outside the mercantile shops. Actually, Ray Bradbury and Walt Disney were good friends, and Bradbury collaborated with Walt on may of the original Tomorrowland attractions....

British actor and director Ray Milland (1905-1986) had a screen career that ran from 1929 to 1985. He appeared in many Hollywood movies as the archetypal, unflappable British gentleman. Milland is best remembered for his gut-wrenching, Academy Award–winning portrayal of an alcoholic writer in The Lost Weekend (1945), for the murder-plotting husband in Dial M for Murder (1954), and as Oliver Barrett III in Love Story (1970).

I love sunflowers so I planted some in my yard and the other morning I went out and had some fun shooting them. I like how the rays of sunlight are coming down. Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Atlantic Electric Torpedo Ray (Torpedo nobiliana)
This roughly 5-feet long creature washed ashore on Ellis Landing Beach, Brewster, Cape Cod Massachusetts.
This was roughly a week after Hurricane Sandy passed by. The creature's eyes and nostrils have been eaten.

Got down to the beach before the sun came up in hopes of catching a nice sunrise, but it soon became evident that this was going to be a cloudy morning. Instead of leaving, I stayed a while just to see if some light would break through the clouds. To my amazement and gratitude, a beam of sunlight found it's way thru and I took this shot before it disappeared moments later.
