I took this photo about a year ago, not sure why I did not post it at the time. Today I was talking to Ronnie about going on another shoot in this area. I decided to revisit my photos and found this little lost gem.
Glencoe Scotland, two of the "Three Sisters" mountains. This was taken early in the morning. We had to fight the sun all week in the highland especially in the afternoon because bunk was shooting 5X7 black and white film and sun is a killer for contrast. But we wouldn't trade it for the world. As the Lake District is beautiful and stunning, and gives you that homey feel. The highlands are raw with a different type of energy. One morning Bunk and I had to battle very high wind gust and driving mist that felt like rain but it was not and it was cold. It was so hard keeping your gear dry and your lens clean but we gave it a shot. When you climb a trail to a ridge line to get a shot that you are dying to get and the wind is in your face and your wiping down your lens every three seconds, you just feel so alive, there isn't a better feeling than that. Just raw!
Taken with my Nikon D7000 and sigma lens. SOOC beside getting rid of sensor dust. Hope you like it I sure do.

Huguenot Memorial Park is at the southern end of the chain of barrier islands that make up Florida's coast north of the St. Johns. Huguenot covers the northern end of the mouth of the St. Johns River and the Atlantic seashore to the south of Little Talbot Island. Admission to the park also allows vehicle access to the beach, though though exposure to the tides is at your own risk.
Dramatic light - a fine haze in the sky looking straight into the sun, with a bright reflection off the south end of Loch Tay.
The mountain is Sron na Clachainn.

A few more from Lake Jindabyne on the foggy Sunday morning I was lucky to see when I was down there. The pano is Lion and cub Islands and Little Lion Island and portrait orientation shot is a stacked LE of Curiosity Rocks.
Can't wait to get back.

Here we see recycling is not new. The fishing hut has been made by turning an old fishing boat upsidedown, then cutting off one end, and adding a wall and a door.
