بعد ثالث ثلاثه حـل والوقـت ليل

ii كل عين" من العبـرة سقـت خدهـا

ارتعـش واتثبـت والعبايـر تسيـل

لقـدر اقـول ليـه ولقـدر اردهـا

واقف" وقفت المحتار وقـت طويل"

انظـر لواقعـي بالعيـن واصـدهـا

مقدر اهرب من الواقع على المستحيل

تقصر الرجل خطـوه قبـل لامدهـا

بين حزن الوداع وبين هـم الرحيـل

كـل لحظـه تمـر بهـم واعـدهـا

حسبي الله على الفرقا ونعم الوكيـل

هددتني وانا مجـروح مـن ضدهـا

اشهد الجدي في مبداه واشهد سهيـل

قصتـي تبنـي الاهـرام واتهـدهـا

ماشفالي جـروح ولابردلـي غليـل

صادت الروح روحا" بيحـت سدهـا

كلما قلت شـده قلـت يمكـن تزيـل

وكل ماقلـت راحـة قلـت لابدهـا

شرهت القلب عدل ونظرة العين ميل

اقنع النفـس ميـر النفـس ماودهـا

المشاعر لهـا بيـن الحنايـا صهيـل

والخواطر تحـز النفـس واتحدهـا

اكتب الشعر من دمي ودمـي ثقيـل

كـل ماجيـت امـد القافيـه شدهـا

اقربي يالقوافـي واشربـي سلسبيـل

من نهورا" يذوب الذوب مـع ندهـا

وذعني للحقيقـه واشربـي حنظليـل

من بحورا" يساقـي جزرهـا مدهـا

مايشـح الكريـم ولايجـود البخيـل

كـل نفـس" طبيعتهـا علـى قدهـا

Looking down the gorge from the lower bridge, Falls of Bruar. I'm particularly impressed by the colours and the smooth glistening rocks.

This area is rich in geology (an extension of the Loch Tay fault?): there's a lot of limestone and other metamorphic sedimentary rocks (layered slate, possibly schist?) and a bit of red sandstone conglomerate nearby, all folded making rakish angles.

Taken on the Shen Hao 5x4" large-format camera with Fuji Velvia (old RVP emulsion) film as the light was fading one evening.

Update 20121220: I finally dared revisit the scene, with less film and more megapixels.

Update 20170806: I revisited it again with even more megapixels: Raw.

Maple tree sap dripping from broken branch along with cold night temperatures caused this cicle to form. It measured about 24 inches.

Learning about portrait lighting

This is different from what i usually do, but I want different, and I enjoy different.

I'll be uploading a lot more than I have been the past few months

but only when I'm not working 43 hours a week and finally completing high school...

I'm falling in love with photography all over again.
