A magazine based around homemade graphics, trying to stay away from using a mac and visualizing layout in front of the camera instead of on screen.
The magazine is printed using the Cyanotype photography process: Coated sheets of watercolour paper with the correct chemicals. Making negatives by printing onto acetate through an inkjet printer. Then exposing the paper with negative on top to UV light (sunlight)
My first copper ring. I'm not very happy with it. I'm very behind the schedule, first for my vacation and after that my dad was in the hospital, so I'm trying to reach the original schedule.
So, having seen the various B&W (with bits of colour) pics around Flickr, I decided to have a go at one with Rosie.
There's my mistake - picking a black and white dog to show in a black and white image. Masked out the colour bits, removed the colour and what do you get? A Rosie that looks exactly the same as before! I even flicked between the original and modified pics and couldn't see her coat changing at all.
She's just a monochrome dog living in a polychrome world, like a TV rerun from the 50s in the 21st century.
8 hours of work.
