In a small wee town where tin was shaped and forged a blacksmith had a daughter just like him. And like her Dad, Rita was a little bit different.

Inspired by the life and songs of Ian Dury, Raspberry is a juicily gothic piece of music theatre that muses on the idea of perfection and perfectibility. Following the story of Rita, and her attempts to escape the clutches of her over protective father the play features many of Drury’s greatest hits sung by Rita’s guardian Spasticus and his band of anarchic punk angels.
