I went to have a look at the top of Jack's Rake on Pavey Ark before descending by the scree path to the east. I went to have a look if I could get down Easy Gully, but as is often the case, there was just one section which looked like it might be a bit hairy to lower myself down.
Well, this is what it looked like before Sandy! Lots of leaves down now, and we haven't seen sunshine in a while. But we were much luckier than many, and our thoughts are with them, especially those who have lost their homes or worse, their loved ones.
