Laying out the construction of the raker shores

As the snow melts the garden appears. Everything is covered in dead plants and dead grass. Just now, any new growth is small. barely visible, and not vulnerable, so we can rake away and then take the rubbish to our fire spot. Today the wind blew away from our neighbours, and our fire place is still surrounded by snow, so we feel it's safe to burn.

Sunlight, shadows and smoke make a great combination.

Grove Rake Mine.

This was an amazing temple I saw in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China during my bike trek throughout the area. The young woman raked quietly while her daughter ran around playing. She let me go anywhere I wanted in the temple, which gave me the opportunity to take a lot of great photos.

Marking the top of this historic shopping street, Wet Rake Gardens replaced the Union Foundry, once owned by iron and brass founders John Halstead & Co.
