Walkers follow a wide path that was formerly the right-of-way of the rail line running form the now-demolished Bastille train station in Paris to Marles-en-Brie via Fontenay-sous-Bois, Verneuil-l'Etang, Chaumes and Fontenay-Trésigny. The line was decommissioned and the rails removed in the early 1970's. In the background, the viaduct over the Yerres.

This rails are still used to carry the salt out of the salt lake.

A couple walks down over the tram lines near our hotel.

Taken at sunrise at Mooloolaba beach in Australia. This is the million dollar "loo with a view", public toilets with prime viewing position of the ocean.

All the rails had been passed across the jointer to flatten one face and then run through the planer to make them all the same thickness. Amazingly I ended up right were I had planned, at 1 1/16 " thick.

The stone street on Riverside in Savannah. Reportedly much of the street work was created from stones used as ballast weights in ships crossing the ocean.
