The Chicago & Northwestern Railroad through the 3rd Ward of Milwaukee is a thing of the past. Small reminders of how much of a railroad town Wisconsin’s biggest city used to be still remain in parts around the city, but none more than in this historic part of town. This track was once a spur off CNW’s passenger mainline up the coast of Lake Michigan.
