I always cross this bridge over the rails on the way to work but never have they glowed that beautifully before - well, I suppose it's more likely I never went to work this early rather... but still!
A Canadian Pacific Railway tamper machine at rest in La Crescent, Minnesota. As the name implies, railroad tampers use hydraulic jacks to “tamp” the ballast, which levels the stones around the ties as well as working stones underneath the ties for proper support.
153377 is against the blocks at Penzance station and is both the southern most and western most train on the national network at the time the image was taken, The Voyager has taken nearly twelve hours on the 09.00 from Glasgow Central!
Looks really red. I may have to alter this one. It reminds me of China. Maybe I will get my RAW photos and see what I can do with this.
