I took this while out for a drive and came across this bridge. All I had at the moment was a Nikon Coolpix S205 which is a point and shoot but was able to find in creative mode that the "text" option opened the aperture up fairly wide to give the nice depth of field.
(I believe it was text mode - this was 6 years ago so I can't really remember for sure)

Some all-shape side rails I made. Figured there might be a need for them, so here's the code:
They're grouped. It seems that keeping them scaled at 23% results in the best appearance..
I have some good pictures left from my last 365 days project that I didn’t had the time to upload until I threw in the towel – but this is one of them.
I was a bit worried in the beginning of this day – not sure of how the day would end.
My hope skyrocketed when I saw how the sun had transformed the stair rails. A quick picture and then I followed the light and ran up the stairs.
I thought that this was a good sign but I couldn’t have had more wrong… it all went pitch black later that day…hence my picture "Nothing".
I have realized that I again have to start to shine the light from myself.
But I hope for some constructive interference of light - if I only could find the bright light again...
Why did the rails cross the road? Two adult Virginia rails crossing Airport Road in Swanzey, NH; they were leading their chicks from the main marsh to the wet meadow across the street, perhaps in search of new culinary taste sensations. Three or four pairs of VIrginia rails are raising young in the airport marsh. They seldom show themselves in the open. (1 July, 2020)
While driving around searching for a good spot to capture the beautiful sunset I drove over this rail line and saw an engine backing up a row of cars. The contrast of the warm orange sky and the coolness of the foreground in shadows looked perfect. I also loved how the rails reflected the light in the sky and stood out from the rest of the ground. The lights on the active engine really pop in the background.
