Part of a series we did on Christian Scott for a cover shoot.
Lighting: The lighting looks relavely straightforward - Softbox from the left, gridded light from behind. The challenge was working in a small studio with white walls and a white background whilst trying to make the background black. The solution - move the key light super close to the subject.

an old olive tree with a Bonsai haircut and a solid support for a wayward limb............. I discovered the tree in a small park near an Ermita near Viñaros.
The Bonsai cut is the latest trend: old trees that have to be moved from their present location are trimmed, branches and roots and replanted for decorative purposed.
This old cannon in the wall of the episcopal palace has probably been there for a long time. This is the wall of the episcopal chapel. the cannon is pointing at the old houses that are going to be torn down shortly.

Dieses alte Kanonrohr ist in der Mauer des Bischofspalastes eingemauert und ist wahrscheinlich schon lange dort. Die Kanone ist auf die alten Húser ausgerichtet die jetzt abgerissen werde.

I had to venture to Hot Springs for art supplies, so I took a bunch of my friends with me and we made and we made an adventure of it.
Daniel pointed this out on the way there, and I forced us to stop on the way back to take a picture.
I wasn't paying attention, but when I got back in the car, the boys said that my presence by the side of the road was literally stopping traffic.
This is my life.
There are so many quirky things between here and Hot Springs. I really want to take a leisurely photo trip and just stop and take pictures at all of the silly little things we see.
A photo essay of sorts.
Don't know if there are too many cats out there that use doggy wee wee pads instead of litter boxes, but MoMo does. Definitely a quirky boy.
I've seen this bloke around our town a few times, with matching top and trousers: bloodstain motif with 'I'm Fine' emblazoned across the back. This is also on the trousers.
I always joke that this is NOT 'Man at C&A'. This is 'Man at 'A&E'
Taken for 116 Pictures in 2016.
#77. Quirky/Unusual
Learning the play the bagpipes has been on my list of things to do for over 30 years. This year, I begin that process. This is a practice chanter that I will use to build my skills before making my first bagpipe purchase.
I couldn't make up my mind between using this for #46 Traditional (the traditional instrument of my ancestral home, Scotland) or #77 Quirky (a quirky instrument in the United States). I may change my mind.

I think dogs are highly intuitive at Bandra Bazar there is a dog who goes after my
ass he dos not like my sartorial attitude and wont stop barking ,,some dogs hate my
quirky sense of dressing and most of all the stick in my hand.
However I have been walking at Bandstand for last 4 months the strays here wait for
me and two of them come kiss my hands ..the dogs here are fed by a NGO they also
groom them treat them for rash or other canine ailments .
I could carry some biscuits but I dont want to create a nuisance in a public place ..there are a few
crazies who walk on Bandstand ..there was one who objected to my style of shooting ,,I hardly know
him though he is a friend of a friend ,,I dont like to be pushed I gave him my mind ,,
Back to dogs ,.I think dogs are much better than humanbeings ..those with fragmented intellect
who come to walk with a baggage of hate they need no excuse to fight ,, they fight mostly with underdogs forgive the coincidental pun..they will fight with the rickshah guy, they will fight with the security ,,,they search for soft targets and are genetic bullies ..I hate this breed..a breed that is filled with misplaced religious fervor too..
But it takes all kinds to make this world ,, I dont wear sports attire when I walk I wear my monk clothes that puts
off a few Muslims because of the Aghori skulls round my necks ... th skull is my reality my face my flesh will all
turn to dust ..what I wear is my spiritual fashion statement as a high end tailor Darzi I have no shortage of garments
I wear what goes with my personality I have never worn a skull cap will never wear it ,,,I dont wear kurta pajamas
or pathanis I prefer loose garments Chinese Shaolin gowns and the Rumi Lama skirt .
Back to dogs there is this black pedigree Alsatian at Bandra he wears designer raincoats he loves red just like me
I love head gear mostly Rumi caps ..I have stetsons too but my head is too small ..and I dont look American..
However my personal choice is the evergreen turban that my forefathers wore I belong to the Mogul Pathan race
Its raining cats and dogs in Bandra ..despite my insulin intake my blood sugar levels are unsteady I have an
appointment with the endocrinologist tomorrow morning at 10 am.
Mind you this is not a blog I exorcised the blogger within me about 5 years back I became a storyteller ..
I talk as I write though I shoot my stories in stoic silence
Thank you once again for your love respect and support ,,
I do not share my number not even with my closest friends ..
Forgive me ,,.I cannot carry the burden of your problems on my frail shoulders ..
Part of why Im thinking its Rini's Time to move on is that she is soooo pretty, the pretty girls never stay with me, I always need to have something quirky or silly about them, so this is Rini's Attempt to stay lol ;D

Where were these frogs when I needed them last month? I found a stack of odd and quirky and didn't know which to use, I might add a collage of them later!! :-)
