There are too many things to list here. What you see is what I could spread out in the limited square footage of my desk. Other pieces are stacked and/or folded so you don't see them.
This thing is going to keep me entertained for quite some time...
Prestatyn, North Wales. I was taken by the two elements in this photo - the huge sign and the row of bicycles. Could be anywhere in South-East Asia.

One of a large number of such cannon captured from the Russians by British forces after the Battle of Sevastopol in the Crimean war. These were cast around 1794 at the Alexandrovsky metal works at Petrozadovsk, near St. Petersburg. This one is No. 3659, at the bottom Inscription with the name of the foundry and the name on the bottom D. Gascoign - this is in fact Charles Gascoigne, an English cannon expert who made the cannons for Catherine the Great when Russia and England were allies. Sixty years later they were used against the British at Sevastopol. For more on Gascoigne see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Gascoigne
This part of the cannon is known as the trunnion and there are one at each side which allow the cannon to be mounted on a plinth or movable trolley.
