March 1.
I started uni today. It was awesome! I love my classes and the atmosphere.
But I also found out Shepard Fairey may be going to jail for lying to the court about trying to get rid of evidence for the Obama hope poster. This is all going to sound very childlike and uninformed coming from me but having to go to jail for lying about using a photo? What a complete waste. He has a family, he inspires so many and does actual good to the world. But instead he's being potentially punished with a 6 month jail sentence. It really makes you wonder what the point of a lot of things is.
These letters are from a art project I did about 2 years ago inspired by Barbara Kruger. They felt about street art-ish so here's my photo for the day.
Are there any barbie competitions open for auditions? I could not find a Barbie photo so I just found this.
The Question, in Minifigure form. To be honest, I’ve not seen (Or can I recall seeing if in fact I did) a minifigure version of the Question. I’ve seen some decal type ones, but never a purist one. Regardless, I made this one!
I plan on having Question appearing in my Task Force X side stories in a bit. So look out for him and his crazy interconnecting theories.

i'll catch up w/ everyone's streams soon...
I have so many pictures I'd like to upload. It has just been a little difficult to find time for Flickr lately. I'd really like to spend more time keeping up with your streams like I used to. I do my best.
So, today I have a couple questions for you guys.
1) Based on your experiences, where/what company do you recommend using to get pictures printed for clients? (if you don't mind sharing with me, that is) I've tried a couple different places and I'm not completely happy. I'd very much like to skip the part where I waste more money with trial and error. I'd really appreciate any help.
2) I'm purchasing collapsible reflectors...before I do, does anyone have any recommendations there? I mean, I figure there's not too much difference, but I just thought I'd ask some fellow photographers.
That's why I love Flickr. It's nice to be able to ask these kinds of things to a group of people who know a little bit about it and who share a passion for it! :)
I hope you all are enjoying your day/night, wherever you are!
Oh, and please view this in lightbox! (click it or press L)
I posted this photo on a day when I was asking myself hard questions. Questions about how i am and who I am and whether inclinations i have on things have come from some dark place, or mean something that feels ugly to me. I like the photo for its simplicity. It says very little. It asks nothing of the viewer.
I'm on the other side of that tunnel, and feeling so much better. I think "be yourself" is cliche, but truly being yourself whomever that is...that is where you find joy.
- Difficult is to match, at the same time, in one place and also, also ...., in the same plane .........Difficult, but not impossible .......
- Difícil es coincidir, en el mismo momento, en mismo lugar, y además, además...., en el mismo plano.........Dificil, pero no imposible.......

...forget about questions, forget about how it appears, forget about how it looks, just care about how it feels...
...I am not into questioning, in fact I am sick of doing that for work. Getting down to the root of everything. I just want to relax and feel comfortable. Thats what I have set out to do at the begining but some how I have lost my direction...
...Don't get me wrong, what is in front of me might still be an illusion. But it is not a question of trust. What I see may still be something not quite as simple as it looks, but if it feels right...am i willing to get to the bottom of it?
...see for yourself and judge for yourself
Note: This picture is not mine, I just found it and used it. I own zero rights, but I love the character.
So I have two things, a question and an update. I'm going to start off with the question. As you may know, I am currently doing a Two-Face mini-series that takes place partially in the courtroom. Now I had an idea about the jury. I was wondering if you, the people reading the mini-series, would like to be the jury. Basically, I will make two endings, one for guilty the other for innocent, and will post whichever you chose. And if you are in the jury, I will tag you in the photo where the decision shall be made. So if you want to be a part of the jury, please comment and you shall be a juror. All you need to do is decide whether or not Drury's guilty or innocent, comment your decision in the photo when you're tagged, and I will tally the votes and post the according issue. Or, if you think this isn't a good idea, you can comment that because honestly this could be either a good or bad idea. I'm not entirely sure.
Now for the update. Since summer is coming, I will (hopefully) have more free time. I've had an idea for a Batman: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. series. I already know what I want to happen in the first season, and have a rough idea on the second. I will post the first issue of volume one once it's finished, and then I'll switch off posting issues of this and the Two-Face series until the Two-Face series is finished. Although, like with the jury, if you think this is a bad idea, please let me know in the comments below. And don't forget to post your thoughts on my jury idea. Thank you for reading this long post, and have a great day/summer.

Here is the thing:
I really don't know what to do... I wanted to stay on Flickr!! But I've been over on Ipernity, it looks good, but it's strange to see all my Flickr friends over there. I've been been here since 2008, and have always loved this place. My computer and internet connection both cope very well with the changes here on Flickr and I kinda like the new look (okay, there is a lot of black). I don't want to leave this place in the blink of an eye. But I'm afraid, I'll miss out on all the fun if I don't switch to Ipernity too...
I am in a very busy period of my life, I can hardly keep up over here. So I am really NOT waiting for another social network site. Or should I jump too?
Just in case I've been looking for some answers on Ipernity. I just don't have the time to thoroughly search... so here are my questions:
- Do you have to pay for any kind of meberbership on Ipernity? (is there a difference between free and pro accounts like here on Flickr)
- Can you advertise for things you want to sell? f.ex. on Etsy?
- Is there a Yonoo add?
I hope some of you know some answers! It'll help me decide!
Anyone have any Rock bands they want me to make. I’m already in the process of making The Rolling Stones and Van Halen. But who do you guys wanna see me make
What is 'beauty'? And why do so many women (and men) think that they must have surgery to make them look 'beautiful'? I don't get it. I haven't always been happy with the way I look or my height but I know that this is the DNA God gave me so why mess with it? To Him I am beautiful just the way I am.
Eww, I just read an article on women having 'foot jobs' to 'fix' their toes and foot shape so they can wear 'beautiful' shoes! It's absurd.
Also, this was just a bit tricky to do! Very difficult shooting 'blind'
The powder blue surgeon fish or tang is another tropical fish prized in the aquarium trade. Online an large adult sells for about 200$. Maybe that is partly the reason we saw few of these in Mayotte.
Roger and Terry raised the question of ethics and tropical fish keeping on the last photo I posted, that of an angelfish. I have less of a problem with the sale of fish that have been bred in captivity than with those captured in the wild. If a fish can be bred in a tank I guess that the tank reproduces the essential factors of that fishes habitat.
It seems to me that fish that normally range over a large area of coral reef are probably best left where they are. A coral reef aquarium is unlikely to have all the components that are needed by a fish like this surgeonfish or the regal angelfish and so they are unlikely to survive long in an aquarium. That keeps the price high and ensures capturing in the wild continues. Such captures are often carried out in ways ( eg cycanide poisoning) that devastate the reef habitat and deplete native populations of fish. The trade in tropical fish is hard to police and regulate but needs to be done. It needs to be sustainable in the long run.

Lego mini-figures live in Lego houses... which begs the question: Are Lego figures made out of house, or are they living in houses made from their own flesh? They scream for they do not know!
Obama listens to a question during a roundtable this morning on Sand Hill Road.
Quotes:
“We have an economy that is doing well for some. But we have greater inequality than any time since the Guilded Age.
We may be the first generation where our children inherit an America that is a little poorer and a little meaner than before.
I am a risky proposition. If you ask who will likely win the election, I’d consider myself still an underdog. The press may not think so, but I do. But the upside is enormous. The way the race is emerging, it’s between me and Hillary. In her attack on my experience, she is saying ‘I know how things are done. I can manage the existing system.’ I am saying the system needs to change. That’s my pitch. If you agree that more of the same is not sufficient, then I am your best bet. If the status quo is manageable, then you have other choices.
This will be a sequential race, like it was for Kerry in the primary. It’s all up for grabs in the early states. Democratic primary voters are not inspired by Hillary, but they respect her. I do better with Independents and Republicans. With Hillary, the Democrats know what they are going to get. They are not yet sure if they can hand me the keys to the car.”
Question on math & science education:
“A whole generation got into math and science because of Apollo. The President has to talk about it in a way that has not been done recently. It’s a subtle thing. In the last several years, I have been shocked by the degree of anti-intellectualism that has been promulgated by the Bush Administration. He jokes about being a C student. ‘I’m not big on science. I know what I think.’ Kids absorb that. I’d like to spend eight years extolling the importance of science and technology and problem solving and critical thinking.”
“Part of the job of the next President is to make the Federal Government cool again. We have lost so much talent in Federal agencies. What smart kid is saying ‘my goal is to work in the patent office.’ They think it’s a bureaucracy.”

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.
