First outing (I believe) for this Jaguar E-Type, one of six recently built by Jaguar Heritage using the original run of chassis numbers, and sold for approximately £1.2 million each.

Finished in a stunning shade of blue, the car looked fantastic in the paddock and on track. While some question the legitimacy of these cars being eligible to race, the way these continuation models were built, and with the price of the original cars now at £7 million, this may be the only option if you want to see these kind of cars race nowadays.

The theme for Looking Close…on Friday is Clothes Pegs. These are clothes clips that can hook over a railing, fence, or nail, so a clothesline is unnecessary. 💙❓❓

Answer if you want. I saw this question on the net ( not sure who said that) and I really thought it was an interesting question. My answer is No but I still like to go places far away when it is possible.

** thanks Tota for the texture.**

Répondez à cette question si vous voulez. Faut-il aller loin pour trouver des choses intéressantes à photographier? Ma réponse est non mais j'aime quand même aller loin si c'est possible.

Similar to the Eastern Comma, the Question Mark butterfly is a common summer sight in Southern Ontario.

Don't just question the instant and its history

Question the need to use punctuation

To indicate the need for information

In an age that was different from now

When facts and alternative facts were not just

A touch away

Question the ruin of us

Who rely on others instead of our own intuition

On digital information over human interaction

Who cannot distinguish the nonfiction from imagination

Who think the opinions of others are more important

Than our own understanding of self.

Question the ruins of creativity

The idea that what you have in your brain

Can't be as good as an AI mechanism

So why get better at something

When you could just zone out and

Not feel anything at all.

When we talk about ruins

We think of physical things so

Let me make it easier for you

Questions the ruins

You still have potential in your brain

You're not done dead yet.

the yellow-billed spoonbill (Platalea flavipes)

The question is:

How does the spoonbill make a little fish jump into its open mouth?

A biologist's answer is:

The answer lies in its extraordinary spoon.

The spoonbill's answer is:

How? The good Lord knows. I just do it.

So many questions and not enough carrots

I met Orlagh on the stairs next to the Auckland City Gallery and to my surprise she answered the question "do you want to be my model?" with "yes".

It was only a 5 minutes shoot next to the gallery but I like her expression very much. So there will be an Orlagh mini series.

This was actually two photos I joined together as you can tell by the different background depths but I do love how they both walk towards me with their tails up like this.

The sun is shining and spring is in the air, but there won’t be flowers here for a while yet. I found this photo that I took a couple of years ago and worked on it today. :) If you zoom in and search around, you will find a flower or two in focus... I promise! Lol

For those of you who like music, here’s what I’m currently listening to...

Deserted house by highway in rural

What secrets lie hidden in the depths of the forest? What extraordinary events unfold there, and when do they occur? Countless questions surround the enigmatic happenings beneath the dense canopy of trees. It is undeniable that tremendous, almost otherworldly forces have been at work here—forces so strong that they have altered the very geometry of the forest system, twisting its natural order and tilting it, in places, by a full 90°. The air is heavy with whispers of the unknown, the shadows play tricks on the eye, and every rustle of leaves feels like a message from the forest's mysterious heart.

tienimi

per l'anima,

mentre rinuncio a volare,

convincimi che è la via migliore per me.

tienimi

per il cuore

in modo che io non senta che batte ancora

tienimi

tienimi

tienimi

e non lasciarmi mai,

altrimenti potrò guardare quello che ho fatto.

di me.

spero che vi piaccia! :)

Relax, it's just a bit of humor. Police action in San Jose, California. Resolved peacefully.

Thank you Annette Allor for properly identifying this butterfly for me. When it's wings are open it shows bright orange top wings. When closed the wings resemble a dead leaf. This one is eating on an over ripe Paw Paw fruit. Upper Marlboro, MD

My 1979 paperback edition of 'On Photography' which, if nothing else, will make you ask questions about your motivations. Reviews here: www.goodreads.com/book/show/52372.On_Photography Thought I'd show the book with a suitable backdrop, an early-70's Nikon F2S and a cup of Barry's tea.

Grande Aigrette

Ardea alba - Great Egret

The droplets from the thrashing tail of the fish form an almost perfect '?' in the air.

This Great Crested Grebe must be a juvenile, I think, as it was relatively unsuccessful in its fishing attempts. Usually, they bring up a fish every 10 - 20 dives. This bird made at least 50 dives before surfacing with the Perch in question.

One has to move carefully when stalking a fishing Grebe - they get easily spooked by movement on the bank and swim away - I have learned to only move whilst they are underwater and remain very still when they are on the surface, even if they are 20 metres away.

That question was heard several times on our drive through a handful of small towns in Western Pa. on Saturday. When we told people it was a Lamborghini they all said "oh yeah". It's a lot of fun introducing people to the Aventador and seeing there reaction as our group of exotics drove by.

Not having visited the CN Champaign Sub in some time, I was beginning to wonder if IC SD70s were still a "thing" on A408s between Kirk Yard in Gary, IN and Centralia, IL. The answer runs south through Humbolt, IL behind IC #1024 and 1027, albeit a little later in the day than I'm used to seeing. Whereas A408s have typically departed Champaign well before sunrise, this one is obviously many hours behind that schedule, much to my benefit.

CN's heritage plan rolls on.

Light and bright compared to the very dark summer form. Prominent violet scaling on margins especially noticeable on hindwings.
