There is one question I wondered about with a uncommon roundel made by CORNING these roundels came in 5 inch and 5 3/8 diameter made by CORNING with the rim legend CORNING CVX 2-2-15 but what was seen from the images the forward of the glasses not the legend side (the back),
was seen as a KOPP RDL manufactured glass.
Until actually getting the roundel in my hands that confirmed the CORNING CVX 5 inch YELLOW glass roundel but something is missing from the usual 2-2-15 to 1935 CVX pattern glass which is a single concentric ring of glass near the rim.
Now that the CORNING is verified being in the guise of a KOPP RDL pattern roundel and knowing of other existing examples had my curiosity piqued of the possibility, would a KOPP made roundel take the form of a CORNING CVX?
This KOPP pattern certainly has the familiar concentric ring of glass found on CORNING CVX's and legend on rim is marked KOPP.
It it surmised KEYSTONE is automotive and emergency lighting manufacturer and doubtful as traffic signal manufacturing part.
While nothing about this YELLOW roundel speaks railroad other than looking like a CORNING CVX pattern, there is no railroad signal glass made with recessed pockets into the back rim for retaining clips .
This image just points out possibly something to look out for collecting KOPP glass masquerading as CORNING CVX.
I do not know within railroad collector circles this being general knowledge and with the many forums about railroad signal collecting whether this is even faint knowledge I was not aware but picked up on the difference however slight .
I think this is rather interesting and a bit important especially in 5 inch where not many signals use the diameter and this makes a difference when discussing semaphore spectacles .
Ironically, this KOPP is in a diameter popular in Train Order spectacles .
If you receive an invitation from your Dental School UCAS Application for an interview, you have already done well up to this stage and if you get over this hurdle, the only thing left is to get your A- Level grades. Your dental university interview: So can you do anything to increase your odds of acceptance? How can you prepare well in advance or is it a case of turning up on the big day and keeping your fingers crossed?

Kauai is without question Hawaii's hidden gem, and one of the most remarkably gorgeous destinations in all of the Pacific.
I have to give a huge thank you to the Kauai Visitors Bureau for hosting, and to McNeil Wilson Communications for putting together a brilliant itinerary.

What happens to tEarthworms once the winter weather sets in? Do they go into a form of hibernation or do they die? Does this have a major affect on the area at the time?

The question: How can I create natural light still life photos in a surreal or supernatural sense? Furthermore, how does the use of only natural light influence the composition and detail of a subject and how can I take advantage of this to create better photos for my assignment?
The answer: The surreal nature of this photo is derived from the floating faucet and the water coming from nowhere. For natural light, this was taken in the morning by the window and I wanted both of my subjects to be evenly lit.
I properly identified the question mark as belonging to Chance, in Monopoly. Alison was like, totally impressed.

Banana Slugs are herbivores, feeding on the vegetation in the area.
I think the plants are the most influential species in the area because not only do they act as food for the lower trophic level herbivores, but they are also habitat for a majority of the species so without plants the ecosystem would die. If an invasive species moved in that competed for space, all the other organisms would decrease in population size because there wouldn't be enough food and shelter. The slugs are predator limited, and the ivy and fungi are density-dependent limited.
Question about site: Is there any significance as to why the ivy, which is home to the banana slugs, is only present along the surrounding steep hillsides, but not in the flat part of the site?
