in the eyes of a cat I read a dumb question: why did you come?.in the wasteland the only stone that has heated up during the day and on it sits a nice cat..I am often asked why I like cats? A cat is a symbol of freedom and independence. They rarely show aggression. They are our doctors. They are just very, very cute:)

Ian Van Dahl - Castles In The Sky (10 Element Deep Remix 2016) Have this tune on^^

Do you ever question your Life?

Do you ever wonder why?

Do you ever see in your dreams,

all the castles in the sky?

Oh tell me why, do we build castles in the sky?

Oh tell me why, all the castles way up high.

Please tell me why, do we build castles in the sky?

Oh tell me why, all the castles way up high.

---=== Meadowlark - What's It Like To Love Me ===---

I often wonder

What I'm like to be around

Am I too quiet, too intense or too loud?

Do I ask too many questions or sing too much?

And are you comfortable when our hands touch?

What's it like to love me?

Is it, is it easy?

I wanna know, I wanna know

What's it like to be on the other side of this feeling?

I wanna know, I wanna know

I often wonder

Will I repeat it all again?

Who will I fall for this time and will they stay my friend?

Will it go the distance?

Will I take their name?

Or will I love too much and mess it up again?

What's it like to love me?

Is it, is it easy?

I wanna know, I wanna know

What's it like to be on the other side of this feeling?

I wanna know, I wanna know

'Cause if I'm gonna do this again, oh I need a friend

To tell me when I'm losing myself, oh When I'm losing them

Oh if I'm gonna do this again, oh I need a friend

To tell me when I'm losing myself, oh When I'm losing them

What's it like to love me?

Is it, is it easy?

I wanna know, I wanna know

What's it like to be on the other side of this feeling?

I wanna know, I wanna know

Caught this girl in a moment of what looked like quiet reflection, and it got me wondering if such creatures actually think, they say for every idea conceived somewhere else it exists. It also took me back to the rhetorical question from the movie the Fly (1986) when Brundle asks, "Have you ever heard of insect politics?! Neither have I." As later explained insects do not have politics but therein lies just how much worse the human thinking is, we have politics and still are brutal, but have a conceited and externalising sociopolitical excuse to pardon ourselves or blame others whilst remaining so appalled at the way natural predators behave. Is it little wonder that so many people prefer the company of animals and not other people?!

Here's to a great weekend ahead, I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)

Thank you, everyone, for the comments and faves to my posting last week of Salthenge. There were many questions from that shot, so I wanted to take time and answer for everyone.

Today's view of Salthenge includes two folding chairs to give it scale.

If you want to leave comments, please add to the other one here flic.kr/p/2kTxRt1

Q: Who created it?

A; Still unknown. I am betting on aliens, and its a secret signal

Q: Where are the footprints?

A: Further proof of aliens......this section of salt is rock hard and not like beach sand. Many areas of the lake has loose / soft salt that is fragile, but this area is sunbaked hard, like concrete.

A bigger problem is tracking dirt/sand on the salt and leaving those dirt footprints (I was extra careful)

Q: Where did the rocks come from?

A: Aliens or an area of rocks about 66 meters / 216 feet away

Q: How large is this?

A: Did my photo today help give it scale? Maybe I should let you know those folding chairs are 12.7cm /5 inches tall :-) No drone involved, just the mini chairs and my Sony a7iii :-)

Q: How long will it last?

A: Humans create things, and just as fast, they destroy things. It becomes much harder to take apart if it lasts a few months as the salt will act like concrete holding them in place.

Q: How big are the rocks?

A: The largest one is maybe 6 inches / 15cm. The entire circle is about 2 meters / 6.5 feet

Q: Roy wants to know why comments are always off

A: Roy, they are only off for you :-) No one else has this problem.

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.

The tree, or not the tree, that is the question ...

Ёлка или не ёлка, вот в чём вопрос.

Поздравляю со Старым Новым Годом!

the lies

their satanic ways

question is...

can you see - ?

will you rise ...

Thanks for having a look! All faves and comments are highly appreciated!

I will definitely never question this dude about that

The proof is right there

Hanging in the open for everybody to see

Some of us needs to show off

And some of us knows what we are, who we are - and don't need to show to the whole world that we have balls

I bet those who needs to tell the whole world that they have balls, don't really have them......

I'm cursing in the church now, yes

But it's only my belief

If you respect yourself and love yourself, then you have the balls to stand up for yourself too

Best balls ever

Poor bird, lol - he is a victim of my words

I have to put some extra goodies on my tray today

Phew 😬🤔

There are times when I question my own sanity – this photo is a good example. I waited two hours to get just the right light at this silly little water fall.

When I arrived half the Hayes Creek Falls water was in bright sun and the other half in shadow. I loved the way the water flows on this and couldn’t walk away without a good shot. So I waited and waited and waited…..

Probably a loaded question : Does your wiener smile? lol

If not, it should be. Piper with her favourite toy -- Hot doggity-do!

The downspout pipes are absolutely huge in St. Petersburg. We're never going back to Russia. I asked a local tour guide how she liked Putin. (A dumb question.) She said, "He is my hero." I wonder how she's faring with the loss of tourism.

All is occupied, but feel free to come and visit the public part :)

"Luanes World - Live the Dream", is the newest addition to the Luanes World sims. But as a difference to "Luanes World" @Slice of Heaven and "Luanes Magical World" @ Morning Glow, who are public sims, "Luanes World - Live the Dream" @ Tabara is a residential sim.

The rentals consist of 7 different houses, all with water view.

The rest of the sim is free for all to use, and enjoy.

Note this sim is moderate, so keep everything naughty inside of your house:)

Please respect the privacy of the other tenants - do not contact anybody else, when they are in the privacy of their own home. If you meet them in the public areas, you can of course say hi :)

Price:

Each rental, no matter which house you choose, is 799/week, with a 2 week minimum pay the first time.

After the first payment you can pay between 1-4 weeks at a time.

Prims:

You get 250 prims to decorate the house, and the nearest surrounding with. Please keep within the prim limit, as we all have to share the prims available.

If you need additional prims, you can buy extra prims - in units of 25 prims for 75 linden/week. Write me a notecard if you want your prim limit changed.

Privacy:

Each rental has it's own security orb, and the parcel setting is set to private, so you will be invisible to people from outside the parcel.

You can add people to the security orb, once I have set it up for you.

Music and parcel name and description:

If you want the parcel to have a specific name and/or description, write it in a notecard, and I will add that for you.

Also if you would like a specific music stream, you can put that in a notecard as well, and I will change that for you.

Luanes Residential World Group:

"Luanes World - Live the Dream" @ Tabara has its own group where only tenants will be able to join (as well as subtenants). Only members of this group will be able to rezz on the sim, but the public parts are open for everybody.

Upon renting a house, send me a notecard, and I will invite you to the group, so you can start decorating your new home. Any subtenants you need adding, you put in the notecard as well. Note that this is only needed, if they need to be able to rezz as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me. If I am not online, please send a notecard, as my IM's get capped.

Sincerely LuaneMeo.

She was waiting for a shooting for an professinal photographer.

She was sitting on a stone near a water fall and the light was braking so beautiful on her face. I have had the honour to be at the photographers side during her shooting. I saw his pictures- perfect!

I always try to find this special thing in a person, the individuality. So it's really a question to all: Is a posing picture better? Without a blemish? Isn't the charisma that we all try to catch, or is it perfection?

A rare opportunity to ask questions from the team. They look eager to help, don`t they?

(I have no idea if I am allowed to use SL Logo like this? Hopefully someone corrects me if I have broken some rules)

Is it interesting or is it ugly or is it both ... or something else?

My friend moved from a place with an amazing seaside view to a cute little cottage in suburban Wellington. Towering over his lovely garden is this beast of a building.

Steve is such an amazing positive dude and he loves his new abode. I'm not sure what he thinks of this behemoth but I'm sure he would see the beauty in it. What absolutely astounds me is that an architect would put big concrete walls with few windows on a pretty much north facing wall. I think they used to call it progress, not sure what they call it now!

I do like the of agapanthus flowers that line the fence however they're considered a pest in New Zealand as they grow so prolifically and drown out any natives that are generally slower growing.

Have a wonderful weekend my dear flickr friends :)

Last year I flew up to Spokane, Wa. and headed over to Coeur d'Alene with my daughter. When we entered town we came across a car show. It was an interesting scene, everybody that arrived to view the show were crammed into all the stores along the street due to the torrential downpour outside. I was very upset at this because I was hoping to find a car show to shoot with my new camera as I had yet to get the chance up to this point and this quaint little town was the perfect setting. We went into a little burger place that was standing room only and had lunch, I noticed as we where leaving that the rain had stopped, just long enough to grab a few shots from under my umbrella.

As it turned out the water drops on this hood ornament of a 1954 Chevrolet looked quite interesting beaded up and reflecting the trees and sky above. I cropped in tighter to bring out the reflections in the chrome.

Fortunately I had my trusty reflector/umbrella in my camera pack. The title "Like A Streamlined Butterfly" is a line spoken by Robert Duvall in the movie Gone In 60 Seconds. This is a reedit and crop of a prior post. :)

Thanks for looking and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are much appreciated!! Have a great weekend everyone :)

If you have any questions about this photo or about photography in general, I will do my best to help, just post a comment or send me a Flickr mail and I will respond as quickly as possible.
