Po 10. put danas je na Vugrinščaku uprizorena Bitka kod Samobora 1441. s pravom borbom, između vojske kraljice Elizabete koju je vodio vojskovođa Ivan Vitovac i vojske poljskog kralja Vladislava Jagelovića predvođene Stjepanom Banićem Lendavskim. Žestoka borba završila je Vitovčevom pobjedom, koji je zarobio vojskovođu Banića i priskrbio znatan plijen.

If only I put more effort into what I wear to work... but honestly, all cares go out the window when you have to go in at 2 or 3 in the morning.
*Full disclosure: I cheated on this project. I admit... I didn't necessarily take all of these photos on the day I was supposed to. And yes, some pictures just plain suck. When I started this project, I knew there would be days when I would give in to laziness, sleep, lack of inspiration, etc. But it's my project, and I figure it's better to give myself leeway sometimes...as long as I make up for it in the end and don't give up altogether just yet....
Needed something to put in the corner of the kitchen, so did some measuring and online browsing. This is 2 Hemnes Benches (WITH STORAGE), a Hemnes Nightstang (corner table) and I forget the table brand, but it folds up in to a triangle and folds out in to a square. I also picked up the seat cushions in the marketplace. Thank you Ikea!

Two words: nested bags.
I put all my ingredients in their own sandwich-size ziplock, label them and toss them in a big freezer bag together. This makes throwing together a homemade pizza SUPER easy. You can either make the dough yourself (really, it's easy), or you can buy it (Trader Joe's makes a good, cheap one). Defrost the sauce, spread it on, and toss the ingredients on, still frozen. Pop in the oven and 20 minutes later you have dinner.
Some tips:
~When chopping peppers, onions, olives, etc for other meals, chop some extra and toss it in your pizza bag to keep it filled all the time.
~When freezing certain things, it helps a lot to lay them as flat as possible so that they freeze individually as much as possible instead of in one giant clump. It's not time-saving to have to defrost them, and not delicious to put a giant lump of olives on your pizza.
~Read Super Baby Food. Even if you don't have a baby. I learned a ton of nutrition from her and learned even more about freezing things in easy servings (nested bags and ice cube trays to name a few).
