The Additive Manufacturing Immersion course prepares introduces skilled professionals to additive manufacturing with a intensive three day course that covers the technology from a hands on and theoretical perspective. Students learn when AM is appropriate including the benefits and limitations. They also provided a material extrusion 3D printer at their desk, and after training, are encouraged to get familiar with the processes by printing on their own. Students are also trained on a simple CAD program that they use to compete in a design challenge at the end of the third day.
I just put out the suet feeder yesterday as the temps have dropped seriously. This squirrel is back from last year, eating a whole suet cake in a day. I bought some hot suet cakes (squirrels don't like the pepper heat but birds have no taste so they don't mind it). Will see tomorrow if it works ;)
MusicNL put together a show with Contact East last night down at The Ship. Amelia Curran, The Secrets, The Freels, and Pilot to Bombardier played sets and Chris Kirby opened the night up with a last minute appearance. It was a pretty good show, my first time down at The Ship in a while.
